Evil Genius
Alright guys, the second Batch of padded Letters arrived this week. The rest of the Seeds are packed and will be shipped in the next 2 or 3 days. Only lack the Address labels. Thanks to everyone who didn´t get them in the first batch for waiting. Sent out like 50 or 60 seed letters and did not want to send out in regular letters because i had some of the first batch crushed when i ran out of the padded Ones. Keep me updated guys.

Dreamwalker.
seems a lot of confusion in names.HELIANTHOCEREUS or Lobivia antezanae = Echinopsis antezanae = Echinopsis tarijensis flw colour = White HELIANTHOCEREUS or Lobivia poco = Echinopsis poco = Echinopsis tarijensisflw colour = Pink, Red, White/Near, WhiteCream/Tan can anyone confirm this as correct? Evil Genius
Yes, it is placed under Echinopsis Tarjensis now and flowers, pink over white to a mix of both. Beautiful Plants. I grow a larger one of them.

I grow a larger one of them.so are Echinopsis antezanae & Echinopsis poco the same do you think.?..or maybe there's a distinction in colour...but they are both tall growers? Evil Genius
Yes, extremely close relative of Echinopsis Tarijensis and most likely the same species. Under current Taxonomy, ABSOLUTELY the same species. Edited July 19, 2014 by Evil Genius

zelly
received your package recently....small purp offset and the seeds.....thank you.recommendation: when you send seeds inside glassine envelopes and packaged inside a box, please tape the glassine envelops shut so they dont spill all the seeds into the larger box. In a flat envelope they may remain closed enough to keep the seeds inside, but thats not the case when shipped inside a box....

Kykeion
Has anybody who received EG's seeds sown them yet? I guess at only about three months old they really aren't going to display very interesting characteristics yet, but I'm still curious.EG do you have any pics of the hybrids you have produced? Either flowers or the overall plants?I was pretty stoked to buy those seeds actually and they're growing now! Lol. I think there is a couple variegates in the mix too. Anything interesting going on with these hostilis? One day when I live more permanently with my garden I will make some seed as it must be a fantastic parent plant. This is a very unique cactus. Someone, somewhere, did a very good job and I tip my hat to them, sometimes i wonder did they even know it produced such brilliant pink flowers?Wow, I love those flowers. Has it ever produced open pollinated fruit/seed to your knowledge? I would think that flowering like that something must pollinate it at least every once and a while.I'm really excited to see how this project plays out. I just purchased a T. tulhuayascensis from SS, so maybe some day I can join in on this fun too!
