Favorite drug movie

not a drug movie per se.....but, i would recommend 'the last mimzy'

recent release, sci fi (loosley based on 1940s novel), and billed as a family movie...though there's an interesting darkish undercurrent you dont usually see in 'family' films, and themes ranging from telepathy to communication with insects as a result of contact with strange objects...

whoever wrote the screenplay and designed the CGI effects was inspired by something interesting imo.

i read some ppl who worked on the matrix were involved.

Not one for watching screens too much when high (in countries where legal) but some exceptions are:

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (The original 1971 release) is great when smoking with friends.

Eraserhead by David Lynch. Creepy.

And just recently downloaded the Carnivale TV series, whilst this is really awesome/strange at any time, watching after a few bowls adds a darker dimension to the characters, especially Brother Justin......

Also "Drawn Together".... that's some bent shit.

None of which really include drugs, but nice accompaniments.....

Donno if anyone has seen, Shrooms1+2 or The Tripper. there both ment to be horror movies based around drug culture.

Shrooms 2 (havent seen 1) is a mix between the ring and fear and loathing .

Tripper is more like a teen screem movie, with some comedy aspects to it.

Definetly not my favs but their fun to watch when shit kicking around.

I rented a movie called 'High School' the other day, i thought it would be just a typical lame teen stoner movie, but it turned out to be really quite funny.

It had Adrien Brody as a bad ass, mildly mental pot grower and these two boys steal his premium hash to dose their whole school on pot brownies.

Alot of the actors were very well chosen, lots of laughs.

Watched this recently. A few beautiful/shocking scenes but I enjoyed Baraka more. Possibly because i didn't know what it was all about the first time.

Of recent drug movies, I found "Limitless" the best drug movie since "Renegade"(Blueberry). Those interested in drugs and mind expandtion ought to see it.
