I also think people fail to see the inherent misogyny in these beliefs. Do you guys really think women are so weak and feeble, and so under the control of men, that they're incapable of commiting violent crimes against them? Since the middle of the 20th century, it's becoming increasingly clear that men and women are on an even footing as human beings in all but the most trivial senses. Sure, Olympic events separate the sexes because under the very narrowly defined, and controlled, conditions of sporting events, the minor physiological differences in the strength of males and females becomes apparent. But when the gloves are off (so to speak), when a person behaves as they have nothing to lose and are willing to go to any lengths to harm and humilliate a fellow human being, none of these minor differences have any relevance. If you think that you would actually enjoy being raped, then you have no concept of what rape is. The fantasy in your head is completely under your control. It goes as far as you want it to and no further. Rape is a very different thing to your idealised notions, and I think it's offensive to rape victims off both genders to make any claim that it would be fun to be raped. Do you really think that a rapist is there to lovingly please you? To be assertive in the way that you like? No, they are there to completely ruin your fucking day, and they will go to whatever lengths they need to to hurt you physically and emotionally. Rape is about having complete and total power over another person, and not in a sexy, Hollywood, assertive woman who's in touch with her sexuality, kind of way. A quote from wikipedia that I thought put it well

The concept of a pale skin, red-headed, blue eyed Jesus is about as plausible as a negro Jesus. The reality is, if there was a Jesus (as in the historical sense) he would have been the same to look at as the Palestinians of today look. Olive to dark brown skin, Brown or black hair, with brown eyes. In the real world...

Youve just helped cement my thoughts....mine were also the mixung or 'mixed' variety. All of these original came in one order from one member on here from one reputable trader in Germany i beleive! Ill take some pics tomrorow....out of the 6 i put on pere, 4 of them have crazp spines (way crazier than most tricho seedlings), and the other 2 are still going bonkers...for a man who turned his hand to grafting litte more than 6 months ago, my lophs love me. I was wrongly overgeneralizing. Some places are good and its a combo of everything: a nice place [sound, music, light, colours, decoration], the owner is a nice guy or your friend, the people that hang out are young in the heart and nice people [or friends and familiar persons] I was just pointing out how I never considered going to a bar or cafe more than a stupid capitalist consumer practice. I still believe that, I still feel that, going to bars and cafes to meet people and to "go out" is still stupid consumerism habit - especially in places with good weather...

Hi Gem - Yes, that's the one :-) Apparently there's a few types of sea beans - and quite the active community i've just discovered (ah google my old friend ;-) http://www.seabean.com/ Entada Rheedii is the one I have, and looks to be the one you have too (search SAB, some great info on them). I bought a few off the internet and they were quite rough and rugged, but a bit of #200 then #600 sand paper brings them to a magical shine! Here's some un-touched ones - beautiful colours, I love them. (Sorry to hijack your thread Amz... )

Cam does have health issues & also family issues. He's only a young guy, who has quite obviously made an error in judgement. He wishes 2 remain a member of the community...has told me that he loves SAB. I don't know about u guys, but I made some serious fuck-ups when I was young & I think anyone who says otherwise is full of shit. He has told me he is quite willing to give back what he thinks he shouldn't have...I think he is over-reacting & can take that up with each individual accordingly. I know I have given him stuff & I don't feel that he owes me anything (pay it forward). He is sincere for his love of plants & cactus & my only concern was that he was either scamming or an undercover. Like I said I have spoken to him & his issues are ultimately, his to deal with. Deception creates interesting emotional responses & I'm sure some people won't forgive him. But obviously some will & already have forgiven him. If he's willing 2 step up then so am I....let's share the love my friends. It is because of everyone's eagerness 2 share with me, that my mrs. hates this forum & I love it... PS - the reason I'm here & will b for a lot longer is the sense of community. You guys r like brothers & sisters 2 me...even psylo .

n.b. it's already been established in other threads that some people think women raping guys is ok to laugh at, other people think it's not ok to laugh at, no one thinks men raping women is funny, some people think man->woman rape is an unfair comparison with woman->man rape, others think it is, with innumerable dubious lines of reason for each.. do people really want to have that debate again..

Not really weird but perhaps a little kharma. The other week in shanghai I was crossing a zebra crossing/traffic lights with the green walk symbol beaming bright. Guy in a hummer burns around the corner and almost runs me over. As he passes me cutting me off I slammed my fist into the car out of frustration. He stops the car instantly right on the zebra crossing, gets out and proceeds to swear at me. I point at the still green walk symbol abd keep walking without saying a thing. He follows me in a threatening way continually swearing (in English). I point to the green walk symbol again. Meanwhile his hummer has rolled slowly across the intersection without it's handbrake on and gently nudges into a parked police car. I then point him towards his car with 2 policeman now surrounding it. Too funny.

I MAY have possibly glimpsed one of these, not under any influence-this may have been the problem

I really don’t think there’s any one reason why a lot of people have really intense dreams when quitting herb. Having said that, the main reason would have to be the fact that most heavy cannabis users don’t remember their dreams. So it just kinda seems obvious to me that if a person goes for years with only an occasional faint concept of there dreams, then its probably going to feel extremely over whelming when they all of a sudden start waking up with a vivid memory of what they dreamt about. Also, I know I personally smoke far more tobacco than I would usually smoke when I quit cannabis. Vivid dreams and night terrors are a very common side effect from to much nicotine. Another thing I have been interested in lately, is how cannabis is apparently the most effective way to stimulate your melatonin production. Smoking weed can apparently increase your melatonin production by like 4000 percent. Now This is just a personal theory of mine, but if cannabis is really that effective at increasing melatonin production, then surely a heavy smoker who tokes from when they get up to when they go to bed must have a depleted melatonin level? So maybe the extremely vivid dreams have something to do with your brain chemistry regaining healthy melatonin production. Anyway, like I said, that’s just a theory I’ve been pondering lately. Btw, it’s probably not entirely relevant, but melatonin is produced by the pineal gland. On another note, I personally found taking melatonin for a few weeks to be an extremely effective treatment for getting over a very ingrained cannabis habit. Really does take the edge off and helps ya quickly regain a healthy sleeping habit. Peace

Hmm.. Well I have been having progressively more and more psychedelic dreams over the last six months and I would love to hear if anyone else is experiencing anything similar. Going to bed at night is really quite exciting when you have no idea what you might be getting up to in some other world. Ive started noticing certain quirks too, like these portals where you pass through a series of bathroom doors and pop out somewhere completely foreign. I find im quite often communicating telepathically with animals and people. Once I zoomed up into the sky to view the situation from the air, panned across and went back onto the ground in another spot. Then I have been dreaming with concious memory of the dream I am currently in, which allows me to change the scenario to prevent problems. Even had a preview at the end of a dream to show me the general idea of the next one. And amoungst this im dreaming the strangest dreams. Aliens making the human race evolve against our will. Herding us all through a series of tests, memory instilations and electromagnetic treatments. Or aliens arriving suddenly by the millions in human bodies, then snapping us all into a collective dream-state where all the individual dreams combine to create a new dream of reality. In a recent one I was at this very posh university which was devoted to the study of bees and wasps, where intellectuals walk about surrounded by their little swarm of bees or wasps. Then I am confronted by an angry horse who does the splits at me. Every night, without fail, another crazy adventure. EDITED BY MOD, NO SELF INCRIMINATION PLEASE!

Btw is their evidence, without a shadow of doubt, that dmt is produced by any Part of the human brain?
