zelly Posted November 25, 2012 Thanks for the kind words mates. A real down side of posting up killer pics of your plants is trying to follow up with next years or a few years later growth and not having the same killer floral displays..... I recently coaxed a flower from a super rare cross, ariocarpus confusus x ariocarpus fissuratus v lloydii and around the same time a bunch of other ario's started flowering I love the pink tinge on some of the petals and the grandaddy (23cm tall)
Stillman Posted November 25, 2012 How old is that last plant Zelly?
zelly Posted November 25, 2012 Stillman, if only plants could talk, what a story it would tell. I honestly dont know how old it is. One thing I can tell you is that 1-2 years or more will elapse between the time it flowers and the seeds are accessible to harvest. Typically the fruits remain buried in the wool until they eventually reach the edge of the plant as new growth emerges from the top. By that time the fruit is completely dried out.
