What soil mix do you use in your outdoor beds?They are planted straight into the ground no soil added. To be honest the soil looks like shit here. Pure sand, very little organic material visible. Obviously nutrients in the ground as the garden does well. I fertilise with blood and bone 2 or 3 times a season, water alot( Don't care what anyone says I water my Trichs hard through growing season) and added the stone to help retain soil moisture through summer.
