I became a dad this week :-) Huxley was born at 10.10am Monday 04 Dec weighing in at 2.95 kg and 50cm long. Its been a full on week and I am totally exhausted, and somewhat overwhelmed by the whole thing. Its totally awesome. Now if I can just get some sleep.

onetime, a member posted that, peganum harmala realy loves alkalaine soil. if i remeber correctly, rue never grew for most people, till they added, lot's of lime/dolomite, to the mixture (and make it a friable aspect and mixture). aswell it can't be kept in pots for long, one has to plant rue out soon. in some places like sa, rue is a weed, but generaly, most people here never managed to grow rue to maturety. some weeds are fuzzy, regarding there condition, soil and climat wise... hmm, because this is a weed, it's hard to grow, in cultivation.

What would have saved Anna Wood would have been basic drug edcation and non-prohibition. ie, education about how much water to drink and education fo her friends that it is safe to call an ambulance when drugs go wrong. Anna died because she had drunk too much water, was going hypoxic as a result and her friends were too scared to call an ambulance. Her death was entirely preventable with basic education and that is a shortcoming the parents and the rest of society will have to live with. Tony Wood rejected most of the coroner's recommendations. It is easier to blame a system that has never worked and can't work than to look at his own shortcomings. Anna had taken ecstacy lots of times before she died. her father denies this even though many ravers knew her well and the coroner had stated that she was 'not drug naive'. What happened to Anna is really sad, but what I find even sader is that her parent's efforts have and will cause other kids to die. As for Nick Mitchell's death, it again will increase the risk of death for further kids because the media is slamming a fairly safe drug which will steer others away from LSD and towards other substances which are invariably less safe.

We do have a lot of funding going into men's health right now, in particular mental health and bringing about equality within the legal system. Moses, that's fixed now. It is only visible to members now. ballzac, you are right in that chat modding can be a bit more lenient. Mainly because the archive is only kept for 24h, so by the time people sober up it is usually gone anyway ;) I am more concerned about rules in regards to abuse. The real time nature of chat often means members who are not quite in control of their faculties take things a bit too far which impinges on the freedoms and enjoyment of others. Being drunk is no excuse for being racist, sexist or homophobic for example.
