Khala
I'm beyond jealous...I've only got flowerbuds on mammilaria species, and E. chamaecereus, as well as Rat's tail cactus. If I ever get a Pach to flower, I'd be in heaven. A loph would give me a heart attack...

gerbil
Thanks for taking the time to share these fellas, really stunning shots.Went to take shots but really nothing good to show at the moment, we are still in a lull with quite cold temps, lots of tip growth so hopefully flowers kicking in with a bit of coming warmth.Must be climatic or maybe nutrition Hellonasty, your buds are well advanced on mine, at most my PC buds which are very few at the moment are around 1/4 size of your smallest, and my scop is just a couple of hairs at the tip.Really cool to see Eileen flowering for you Zelly, i'm not aware of anyone getting flowers besides when she went off for Ed about 5-10 years ago. And interesting she's dropped her spines for you, again could be climatic or orientation in my yard, as all mine are still pumping out spines as much as possible, even though not overly heavy. Did you cross her?

bogfrog
^Hell yeah they would!Put me down for some seeds if the cross comes into fruition?I don't have any trichs in bud, so i'll just have to admire all of yours <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_smile.png
naja naja
So jealous, my only trich to flower was a scop, but it was it's first year away from up north. I have a similar climate to sydney, SO havn't clue why mine don't flower. Maybe they need to get bigger?? I dunno..... Maybe they need the cold or something? My lophs flower their little bums off, but never a trich flower to be seen
GoOnThen
I have buds popping up on a lot of my trich's at the moment. Most of mine were bigger cuts and the oldest has been in a pot since 2009 and this is the first year most will have flowered. The main things that have changed this year is they have all been moved from one end of my yard to the other and in the move a lot of the roots that had grown out of the bottom of the pots were cut off. The length of time that they have been in there pots would mean they are root bound and the potting mix would be depleted of nutrients as well.I also used to feed them Miracle-Gro GP fertz but this year I have changed to Thrive flower and fruit fertz which is lower in N but saying that I did have some buds start popping before I started fertilizing this year. They also are probably getting a bit less water for this time of the year as I haven't moved my retic as yet so they are only getting hand watered when I have time.So I would think that this year my Trich's are stressed more that they would have been before from the move and not being loved as muchI wish I new exactly why they all have decided to flower this year but I don't so I will have to just live with it and enjoy the show. I now have buds starting on Super Pedro , Bridg x Scop , Pach , Len ( peruvian ) and Mike ( bridge ). CheersGot
