I have 1xpack of seedlings to give away, it consists of Bridge OP Dawson OP T werd OP SG op mix 2 of each, it's from the collection of bardo's auction. I will be continuing to give this lot away once a month to cut down on the collection, I also have a variety of seeds given by the one and only Gimli (the master of all givers), which have germinated and looking to grow them on to give away as well. This is in the spirit of Gimli and a past time where everybody had the interest of the community at heart rather than selling their wares at douchbag hipster prices, there is an auction site to do that, a special interest site is not the place in my opinion. The giving has slowly dwindled over the last decade heck even over the last 3 years. It's a sad sight to see. The only stipulation is to create a giveaway thread and link it here and is for your own personal collection and not to sell on, if I suspect that people are selling on, it will ruin this little project of mine and for everybody else that has this like minded interest. Also any cacti seed that people don't have the time or patience to grow on and given in this direction it will be grown on and added to this thread. It will be drawn on the 22nd of every month. The amount of the giveaway will increase as the stock continues to grow to decent sizes.

Hey everyone, I haven't done a comp for a while so I think it is time to kick the new year off with a bang. Post an original artwork that you have created. It is simple just don't puff, i have quit and taken it back up a few times now and i feel stupid when i had started again, just one smoke re-triggers all the bullshit again. i haven't had smokes since just before christmas, i did have some minor withdrawals like insomnia for a few nights and night sweets but its only temporary so who cares, use it to motivate not to do it again (having a strong motivater helps alot) Not only is it pointless and makes me feel like shit but every smoke is funding the government, i say fuck the government, they won't get a dime from me except through gst and land rates (bastards). When a craving comes just treat it as if the devil is wanting your health, funding, dignity, self respect etc. If one thinks they can not quit they need to self disipline themselves, if one lets a tabacco plant control them then just about anyone/thing can, stuff that believe in your self and prove your strength. Don't be a pussy and start exercising control over your self, treat your body like a garden of eden and a craving as if a serpent, don't talk to it, dont bother to negotiate, just stomp on its head. I've been smoke free since Jan 3 this year. The last time I lasted nearly 2 years before I tried "just one" and got hooked again. I'd been smoke free for over 6 years one other time when I quit. I tried patches and gums years ago but they never worked. I've always believed they are complete bullshit. It's another fraud like almost everything else offered by modern medicine. The best quitting resource I found was a PDF titled "Never Take Another Puff" by Joel Spitzer http://whyquit.com/joel/ntap.pdf Joel was one of the first people to even recognise smoking tobacco as an addiction, the medical establishment believed it was just a habit for way too long before they started calling it an addiction. In his PDF he explains the best way to successfully quit has been and always will be cold turkey no matter what bullshit the quacks believe or what crap they try to sell you. Paraphrasing here but Joel explains it like this. Imagine telling a heroin addict or any other addict the best way to quit is to take a small dose of the substance they are addicted to every day. They'd never get the chance to break the addiction. If you wanted to be really cruel to any addict you could let them go through the early stages of withdrawal and then give them a tiny hit once a day to keep the addiction in tact. That's Joel's allegory to cutting down. Why subject yourself to repeated withdrawal symptoms and then re-instate the addiction to do it again. 10 studies screaming "leave replacement nicotine alone!" There are 9000 sealed indictments. lots of weird stuff happening, CEO's have been standing down, public figures disappearing, flights to guantanomo bay and bolstering the deployment there. My personal belief, maybe just because i hope its true; this is an actual purge of the parasitic element of the federal government including pizzagate/pedogate. They will be tried by military tribunal because such powerful people will always wriggle their way through the justice system.

I got off the ciggies with a vaporizer now I jst have a few puffs on it if I get the urge or if im out drinkin. Although i still give into a rare cigarette and then wonder why lol, drinks and socializing I guess.

Hey Yeti I recently had a long argument with my family about Bertrand Russell because of some article my mum sent us, which he wrote about boredom (chapter 4 from the conquest of happiness 1930). She thought it was great but I thought it was terrible, which of course means most of what I am about to say is just opinion, not fact. The quote you posted is like a short version of that article and is plagued by the same problem, being opinionated poorly-thought-through rubbish (in my opinion, lol) that would have benefited from proof-reading. It's unusual a talented logician would produce such an illogical statement and the boredom article was full of them. As such, by logic, the statement wants to be cocksure (it is stated categorically), but if it is not it is by Russell's own definition intelligent and is therefore 'full of doubt'! Ironically of course it is not at all intelligent so I can only assume, by logical deduction of the statement itself, that it is cocksure and produced by someone 'stupid'. By my definition, it's just a bit trite, because Russell was clearly not stupid. I'd only vaguely heard about Russell when my mum sent the article and I did some research on him. He seems important for his work on logic and mathematics and the fella he wrote an important book with (Alfred North Whitehead) I enjoy - if his works aren't a little bit of a head scratcher - but Russell's other philosophy appears to fall flat because of a (self-proclaimed) lack of understanding of aesthetics (a lack of understanding of aesthetics would make a person opinionated and separate the supposed 'stupid' from the supposed 'intelligent') and being very much a product of his British post-war (WW1) historical milieu, which gives it a dreary feel. I must admit I'm not basing my arguments on much more than a few articles and a wikipedia page, which is not a good foundation for criticism! I think you've summed it up well about his doubt and this accords with what else I read ("He could never find an adequate argument to support his moral position that satisfied his high standards, leading him to separate his advocacy and activism from his 'pure' mathematical philosophy"). I appreciate Russell's social ethics and the effort he put toward that task, it is a conspicuous feature of his life. There is much to be admired about his social work but his social/cultural philosophy is poor from what I have seen (I have not read his philosophy on logic and maths, which may be excellent). For me, the distinction between 'stupid' and 'intelligent' is fundamentally untenable and not a good starting point for sorting out the "fundamental cause of trouble" of any epoch of history, including the modern one.
