You guys surely understand that this is a speculative bubble. Bubbles degrees can't be seen in real time, only in retrospect. History shows us this. I'm not saying crypto isn't great for investors now or to sell all your alt-coins (I'm certainly holding right now). But it will pop, demand will taper and people will cash in. Other investors will see the trend and sell too. Some will be winners and some will be losers. Where it's mean value falls after the pop is another point of contention, though I suspect it is not as high as it is now. Think of dot-com, housing estates, or even tulips...

Poo update, i forgot until i when to dig in to plant my raspberries that the fkn camphor laurel roots from next door are all through the yard i don't know how i forgot as the leaves are ever where to so after this season i'll do raised beds as the roots will prob be all through this poo before to long. I know radish grows well any way but these are looking real nice. Red lettuce going well (not my thing but my rabbit loves it) some green butter crunch just started. Came across this reading about existential psychotherapy: Überwelt refers to spiritual and/or ideal dimension of human existence (being one of 4: physical/environmental, social, psychological, spiritual). It is the aspect of life where we try to find greater meaning with a philosophy, religion, code of ethics or ideology. It's where we confront the existential tension between hope and despair, meaningfulness and nihilism etc. It's also where we (some of us quite literally) face "the void and the possibility of nothingness" in our quest for something that transcends the mortal self and strictures of time. Or something like that.

I Sadly do not have that cross but I have noticed with all of my LJ crosses that the areoles seem to protrude pointing upwards with those fan shaped spines. If you hadn't said anything about it being a LJ cross I would have placed a guess on it being the father

A bit of vine never hurt anyone. You have chosen the right medicine to have at the center of a plan to bring about some positive changes in your life. Yes its chemistry may improve the symptoms of depression, I hope they will. But its a vibrational medicine, allow it to change your vibration to align with the new pathways you desire. Look for signways to the path, generally hiding in plain sight, in everyday life, allow the vine to illuminate them. You will be rewarded by "paying attention",not only to how you are physically feeling, but to opportunities to "join the dots". You have commenced an "act of will" and stated publicly your intention. You need to see this thru now to show the vine you seriously require its help. Stopping will turn the process into a procrastination, and have the opposite effect, making plans impotent. giving the energy working against your interests power. Magic 101 basically, but worth a mention, when working with a magic potion. You have good friends, and are part of a great community. You have wisely chosen the best hobby in gardening, and have great skills. Life can be anything you want, leave the old story, and step into a new one. There are plenty of great chapters to write. Best regards brother.

This is how australian military secrets were stolen from a contractor to the asd, who by the way are like our nsa - computer spooks. Some spooks they must be. I bet russia did it. Only state sponsored hackers have the resources for a sophisticated hack like this one.

Its already gone way too far and beyond, the big question is are people going to do anything about it? or just bend over and allow themselves to be fucked in every way possible. I'm starting to think the only way things are going to change is when shit hits the fan and there is mass revolt.

The dirt bike for me is for one to love others more than them selves which would mean we would all live in a world were everyone loves you more than them selves, that's my vision, I would love to feel that and I couldn't imagine all this horrible crap happening in that world, everyone would already have what they really want I believe, which is a feeling of love which would give a feeling of security etc.

My 'two cents'. I'm stuck deep into "society', but I'm an actor in it - I use it to my own ends. Whilst I'm not an adherent of any belief system, but I have learnt a bit in my 50 years. One source of 'guidance' I obtained was from Terence McKenna: "Culture is not [our] friend" Culture "is for other people’s convenience and the convenience of various institutions, churches, companies, tax collection schemes, what have you. It is not your friend. It insults you. It disempowers you. It uses and abuses you. None of us are well-treated by culture.” Leave it all behind - become actors - don't get involved in these events. Protect yourself and loved ones, but leave all this behind. Stay cool.

An unpolished and probably slightly provocative theory I have caught bouncing around my consciousness is "Blame the boomers!" Let me explain: When you are the generation after the victory of a major war you enjoy the spoils; you also may believe those who deliver said spoils and were in control during wartime have your best interests at heart because hopefully they're in it as deep as you are/were. Biggest semi-thoughtful, underlined sentence I've typed. In short you view the government as a kind of parent figure.* Could be totally off, but I feel like my parent's generation, generally, are WAAAAAY too trusting of the government and seem to assume that the powers that be, or 'they' or 'them' to some, are 100% altruistic, statesmen from 19 hundred and fucking never-ever, who could/would never stoop to corruption and propaganda. That's what the baddies did, and still do. Not trying to pick a fight, just honest in my confusion. * apologies to the boomers out there. Gross generalisations noted.

Hey look.... It's the same theme. I was looking at the main pic and thinking how sexy that damn gas mask looked. And what a great pose by the PM; the classic "thinker" pose, minus, of course, him sitting with the elbow on his knee. I guess that's the "working man's thinking pose" Does anyone else here think this shit is going too far. I mean, surely the majority of the Australian population must be able to see through the bullshit by now. No one in their right mind can believe things are going to get better by going down the track we're being dragged, can they? Perhaps a better question might be, is there anyone here who thinks all the increased security measures are necessary, the surveillance, increased police powers, the increased spending on anti-terror. Does anyone not think things are gonna get very uncomfortable for us soon? http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2017/10/03/turnbull-dismisses-privacy-concerns-in-asking-for-a-national-facial-recognition-database_a_23231863/

If it has spines over a certain length (i think 10mm) then it won't be allowed on board. I've had to remove my cutting once, but bought some scissors at the chemist and cut all the spines off which was then fine. I had to surrender the scissors though, LOL.

the BAP did not create the variegation, it just forces variegated areoles where it's applied to grow a pup. applied to an all green areole will produce an all green pup i think the thing with lanolin is it has a much better 'staying' power than some of the others mentioned. depending on many factors, the process can take up top a year for force a pup, and you really only want to apply it to 1-2 areoles at a time.

I was wondering whether something like Lucas' pawpaw ointment, (its sort of like vaseline but it's fermented carica papaya not petroleum based), could be used for BAP application? I also had thoughts about using it around graft contact areas to lessen moisture loss when the graft is freshly done. Since it's fruit based I thought it might do a decent job....
