  1. Day 5: upped my dosage, it was hard to swallow this morning, I had often have a bit of a gag reflex when I first get up, the dose didnt taste bad, but my body wasnt liking anything today. Work was difficult. Not due to anything other than the fact it was a difficult, shitty day. But even still, managed to not drink alcohol again. No coffee this morning, bit of a headache to start, but went away after a while. I'm tired. Feeling low energy, and very much looking forward to a rest on the weekend. Dreams are still very intense, I dont think I've had so many nights in a row of such intense dreaming as I've had this week. So tired I'm off to bed.

  2. Where am I at now? Day 4: Less restful sleep last night, with a lot of dreams about inadequacy and frustration. Not quite sure what to make of these ones, or what action needs to be taken. I guess sometimes you just have to be patient. Still very clear dreams though. That's something I have noticed in the last few days. Dreaming is enhanced a lot. My dreams are usually chaotic jumbles of day to day life, which are not clearly recalled afterwards. Now I am really dreaming and I can remember every detail. I cut out the coffee this morning. Much better. No headaches or withdrawals, as I said I only have the one double espresso in the morning and that's it so I wasnt particularly concerned about leaving it out. I didnt feel like I was lacking energy or wakefulness because of it so I'll leave it out for the rest of this week until I finish. I was very stressed this morning, but I put my trust and faith in my ability to cope, and with you guys and the medicine on my team, who could stand in my way? I think I might up my dose again tomorrow to the original 60ml and see how I go. Now that I have a feel for integrating the feelings into my day, I dont feel so apprehensive about having them at work, but I do need to be careful just the same. I dont have the kind of job that I can just go and avoid people and situations, I'm on the frontline. Not too much else to report, I think that's a good thing though. Life seems to be pretty normal, but the good kind of normal, not the normal where I have a longneck as soon as I walk in the front door upon getting home. I'm not making any progress on my art project this week so far, but my days have been long. By the time I get the essentials done, and get a chance to actually sit down, it's around 10pm, and I'm exhausted so I have been going to bed instead. I appreciate all your messages, if I can help anyone out, please let me know. It's eye opening to see how many of us are suffering the same conditions in silence. Let's help each other and be supportive. Even here, where we are like minded, we dont always treat each other as well as we should. I think we can all heal ourselves if we have the right tools, it's not up to anyone or anything else to do it for us. Sometimes we just need the path to be illuminated so we can see it, and that's where the plants can assist us, but at the end of the day, we need to do the work ourselves. Jeez, listen to me, like I have the answers all of sudden! Words come easy, good actions are what's needed and I have a long way to go.

  4. I have these wattles started 5-6 years ago from seed giveaways on SAB /Thanks guys!/ I'm not sure what variety/ I think the seeds were labeled acacia maidenii / and I haven't seen them flower yet. Since then they've been indoors, between floors in apartment building, facing North and direct sunshine in the evenings .Summer time microclimate for this spot is very hot and dry and the plants seem to like it. Winters here are down to minus 20 degrees Celsius outdoors and probably around plus 1 in this spot /I haven't actually used a thermometer to find out the exact numbers; might have been below freezing as well../ Compared to other acacia plants I've started from seeds and tried in these growing conditions / for example a.acuminata and a.courtii/ ,this variety handles indoor light well and grows better and faster . The substrate is light mix of loam, sand, perlite, commercial potting mix and leaf litter/humus/ gathered in the park, in 20 litre buckets. Once or twice I've tried to better the pots with some soil gathered under local acacias. I water once a week, or twice a week in the Summer . Low nitrogen fertilizer once or twice a year. They endure annual pruning 30-40% well. The plants drop leaves naturally / renew foliage every year as well. This year one of these gradually lost all leaves in the middle of growing season/Summer/ and I thought it's going to die, but recenty I've found new offshoots coming out from the stem Time to share some photos Enjoy

  11. Not sure if it's been embalmed into our law yet. Cops have been doing that for decades though, long before this tech existed. It is partly profiling bullshit (that they figure certain people - eg. those covering their faces - are more likely to be a real threat in some way, eg. wanted terrorists & fugitives), but it is mostly an intimidation tactic, as far as I can tell. You'll notice that they also target anyone using a microphone/megaphone, people who are obviously recording, and so on. I've seen arrest records after protests where the only charge was "resisting arrest", so if they can get away with arresting "ringleaders" on such circular reasoning then I don't believe they actually *need* legal support to harass people. But at the moment it is limited to certain events like rallies & strikes - cops don't get away with the same behaviours (or at least, not the same level) in a supermarket or school fete, say. In a way this has all been happening for as long as there have been cameras. Just much, much slower. But like the metadata retention scheme, it's at the point now where the speed & volume of the data processed have increased so much from previous generations of tech, that the entire nature of the system & the ways it can be used, is changing. I don't follow social trends so I don't know the proper terms for this stuff, but it's like a phase shift in chemistry - when you reach a certain point the matter isn't just "a bit denser", it is qualitatively different. I believe facial recognition (in the worldwide, real-time-linked sense we've been talking about) is another one of these shifts. In a sense, it has been happening for years, in another it has already happened. But there still might be room for plebs like us to get a say in who gets to wield that power in our futures, and for what purposes. So we should still protest shit like this, and wear bandanas to work some days for no good reason - just because we can. At least for now.

  12. Hi all, I am about to start a course of daily doses of caapi to assist with treating anxiety and depression. I brewed up 50g of vine today, and plan to space this over a week, taking the equivalent of around 7g of vine daily in a tea. My brew was a simple water brew with only a tiny squeeze of lemon added at the start, and it was made with love and attention, I sang a few songs to it while cooking and also blew some palo santo smoke over it at the end. My hope is that it helps me break free from some bad mental patterns that are plaguing me lately, and I'll assess progress after a week. If things are going well, I will extend my course. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, and I'm happy to receive PMs or you can post them here. I also have Rue, but I am starting this experiment with Mama Caapi as I wish to develop a close working relationship with her, and have heard some good results. I'll try to post daily here as to how I am feeling and I hope this may eventually serve as a resource for others who may wish to try this path. I have taken SSRI's in the past, but they leave me feeling hollow and mediocre, like the feeling I used to have days after heavy Raving. I plan to make other changes in my life to complement this path, but one step at a time. Let's do this. I have a good feeling about it. Lots of love, G.

  13. Lol this conspiracy theory type argument about banks pumping bitcoin makes no sense to me... Wanna know who actually is responsible for the bitcoin prices skyrocketing to where it is now in the span of a few years? Drug dealers and buyers from the DNMs, that's who. Do you realize how much money is going through there every single day? (although now is kind of a bad time for DNMs with traderoute and all lol). Some major operations on there, people buying bulk amounts etc... And as the government agencies take down more and more of these markets, the mainstream news talk more and more about it, emphasizing how easy it is for people to buy drugs online, which only brings more people to the next big darknet market and so on... If Goldman Sachs were pumping bitcoin they wouldn't come out and say cryptos are a bubble that will pop soon and all that load of bullshit, that would be like snitching on themselves! No, like any other pump and dump they do, they would rave about how great an investment this particular coin is. If you think the international drug trade is here to stay then you can safely assume cryptos are too. Because let's be real, as much as I'd like that to change, drugs are still the main physical thing that bitcoins are used to buy with.

  14. This following comment got me a little alarmed. Do you think what they say holds water or needs to be at least kept in mind? what's you's guys take on it? If I may, could it be a clever trap (either for peeps or the bankrims) dyu reckon? ""Watch and wait....here is how these bitcons will crash, watch and learn: Who is pushing up the prices of the big cryptos ??? Little nerds?? NO....Central Banks are and when the time comes, they will dump a few piles and crash the prices.....how did they do that ??? Create fiat money out of nothing and buy bitcons....you guys know nothing and will never see this coming. Can this go higher for a bit ?? Of course, but the quoted prices mean nothing."" from this yesterday https://www.rt.com/business/407092-bitcoin-gold-goldman-sachs/ kinda still redeveloping and reprogramming my shit filter and it's set to maximum as default lol , but am I out of line to think it's a worry? or is not enough known yet anyway to discern whether to or not worry, or is it that it can't be known yet? Hey thanks @MG I might do that soon but just tryna maintain a financial break even for now.

  16. have ever seen droplets on them? yeah I call them fruits - Ι even call chilli peppers fruits sometimes... in any case I hypothesised that since its swelling it was pollinated earler... there was coning activity earlier but the heat fucked it... I havent seen any flower (strobili) on the geras, but today I saw something that is different than female cone, so I might have had one male and 2 females.... (well I split the one female into 3) pretty amazing , I have only seens foeminea fruits and flowers (strobili) in person (recently got a distachya helbetica and minima which did some minimal fruiting from the nursery, but I saw only the end of it) also admit havent checked my archieves about gera infloresence.so I will come back on this...

  19. In one month i will make fotos of all the 2015/2016 crosses. I ll choose one plant per cross and then i ll create a website to collect all the pics and informations. So i will do every year following. Hope this will help in the future to get a base where people can see the characteristics of the hybrids and see how the mature.

  25. Has any one heard of Parallel Gene Transfer (or lateral or horizontal depends which book you read). The basic theory is that there is no evolutionary tree, no single origin as such. More an evolutionary web, a web driven by viruses. Viruses are not technically alive, because they don't have enough DNA to reproduce. To reproduce they must invade a host cell and steal some DNA. Because their DNA is so unstable the process of reproduction usualy tears their DNA, sometime leaving bits behind, sometime taking bits with them when they enter a new host. Over time a group of organisms (or people) living in close proximity, sharing viruses, will also share DNA, becomeing more alike. There is also many proven cases of inter species transfer, swine flu for instance contains DNA from avian, pig and human all in a single incomplete strand. The machanics of the theory is the entire foundation for the science of genetic enginering.

In the 600 range did nothing pain or " recreational " wise. I found it all in all to be totally ineffective for me and horrible. But thats part of getting guinea pigged when pretty crook. 28. Good on you, Glaukus. You're definitely on the right track, I reckon. This year has been mine to break the lifetime hold my demons had on me. The mushy was my saviour, but I've done some ceremonial work with San P and Mother Aya as well. I'm loving the work I'm doing with the Shroom, though. Looking forward to hearing your progress. Life is so much more beautiful when you get the big black dog out of it.

  29. You guys surely understand that this is a speculative bubble. Bubbles degrees can't be seen in real time, only in retrospect. History shows us this. I'm not saying crypto isn't great for investors now or to sell all your alt-coins (I'm certainly holding right now). But it will pop, demand will taper and people will cash in. Other investors will see the trend and sell too. Some will be winners and some will be losers. Where it's mean value falls after the pop is another point of contention, though I suspect it is not as high as it is now. Think of dot-com, housing estates, or even tulips...

  35. Its already gone way too far and beyond, the big question is are people going to do anything about it? or just bend over and allow themselves to be fucked in every way possible. I'm starting to think the only way things are going to change is when shit hits the fan and there is mass revolt.

  36. Hey look.... It's the same theme. I was looking at the main pic and thinking how sexy that damn gas mask looked. And what a great pose by the PM; the classic "thinker" pose, minus, of course, him sitting with the elbow on his knee. I guess that's the "working man's thinking pose" Does anyone else here think this shit is going too far. I mean, surely the majority of the Australian population must be able to see through the bullshit by now. No one in their right mind can believe things are going to get better by going down the track we're being dragged, can they? Perhaps a better question might be, is there anyone here who thinks all the increased security measures are necessary, the surveillance, increased police powers, the increased spending on anti-terror. Does anyone not think things are gonna get very uncomfortable for us soon? http://www.huffingtonpost.com.au/2017/10/03/turnbull-dismisses-privacy-concerns-in-asking-for-a-national-facial-recognition-database_a_23231863/

  37. If it has spines over a certain length (i think 10mm) then it won't be allowed on board. I've had to remove my cutting once, but bought some scissors at the chemist and cut all the spines off which was then fine. I had to surrender the scissors though, LOL.

  38. the BAP did not create the variegation, it just forces variegated areoles where it's applied to grow a pup. applied to an all green areole will produce an all green pup i think the thing with lanolin is it has a much better 'staying' power than some of the others mentioned. depending on many factors, the process can take up top a year for force a pup, and you really only want to apply it to 1-2 areoles at a time.

  39. I was wondering whether something like Lucas' pawpaw ointment, (its sort of like vaseline but it's fermented carica papaya not petroleum based), could be used for BAP application? I also had thoughts about using it around graft contact areas to lessen moisture loss when the graft is freshly done. Since it's fruit based I thought it might do a decent job....

  40. Sorry, I must have missed your question Moses. BAP has given me variegated pups of peruvianus & tbms, I havent BAP'd a variegated pedro yet mama variegated peruvianus on the right one of two pups another one that got grafted various variegated tbms in no particular order (i started with one un rooted pickle the size of my thumb, which I first rooted then BAP'd) one of two grafted offsets second grafted plant, this one is planted in the garden now These next two plants initially started off as pups from the main mama variegated tbm that were insufficiently variegated to suit me. They were removed & then rooted. then allowed to grow.... aerole BAP'd I guess my results of BAPing and increasing propagation rates are still inconclusive.....ymmv
