Chiral Posted June 18, 2009 System of a down - toxcity Dead Kennedys - various ( tahnk god i got all the albumns while Jello had the rights I could not bring myself to buy them after what those fuckwits did to him ) Dead Kennedys...sweeeeeet...I have every album on vinyl even the original nazi punks fuck off single with arm band...the only one I don't have on vinyl is the two drunk to fuck EP. Saturday night holocaust Moon over Marin Chemical warfare truly those guys where the best political punk band ever...Millions of dead cops a close second...fucking awesome group..the lead singer is a gay Cowboy from out of Austin Texas...fast paced incredibly literate vocals and unashamed political bashing at a hundred miles an hour...love it. Chiral Posted June 18, 2009 nice mixed bag there Apoth.. haven't listened to Tipper in years...those breaks of his are pretty original stuff... if you like Tipper should check some of Si Beggs stuff...it's in the same style but cleaner and not quite as nasty...but still hard and quirky. paradox Posted June 18, 2009 last few days some interesting fringe dubstep stuff - these guys called Clouds are pretty interesting also been listening to a lot of stuff from the tzadik label - john zorn, fred frith, massacre, naked city etc -twisted experimental free form thrash jazz/metal/punk sort of stuff i guess you could say. the tzadik label has heaps of really eclectic, experimental & avant garde artists as well as some really obscure bands from different cultures & backgrounds & a high standard of musical ability. also recently discovered some pretty obscure frank zappa albums which has been quite eye opening
