Sheesh that's terrible rahli but i can totally agree with you that sometimes different people react differently to herbs.. etc. I've only ever had kava prepared out of the raw root material(powder in water)and only intermittently for temporary relaxation - never for any sustained period and have never experienced any ill effects - apart from the taste These tablets you talk of are they the Kava 2400mg by Thompsons? I've a friend who went thru the bottle taking them daily and reported no visible/noticeable difference to his anxiety levels and didn't buy anymore. So...um ...who knows?
