I'm really looking forward to this! I've been wanting to go to an EGA event for years, and by the list of speakers and workshops this looks like a great one to be at. It will be nice to hopefully put some faces to names and talk plants! If anyone I've traded with over the years is there then it'd be great to say hello .

Off topic, but it looks like we have a few southern Tas members now. Should we start thinking about having a little get together/plant swap? I've been a little jealous of these mainlanders having all of that fun. I guess we could include the northerners too -
I want some nice weird plants. If you've got any seed from monstrose/variegated Trichos I'd be keen to have a look! I have cash and crypto, bunch of tricho, random other ethno seed and plants to trade Cheers!

Yes please if any are left!

Hey all I'm after those in the title. Catha seeds of any variety are appreciated. I'm up for different Loph varieties and locations also. I'd much prefer to trade if possible as money is usually diverted to tedious things like electricity and food, but I'm happy to work with cash as well. For trade I have some Trichocereus seedlings, mainly OP Goliath and OP Psycho0 (~5cm) 18cm Validus x Bridgesii tip cut Citronella Balm Pineapple Sage SEEDS: Ephedra nevadensis Lemon balm cv Citronella Polygala tenuifolia Gynostemma pentaphyllum Kale Garlic chives Marshmallow Lemon mint Bergamot Mustard Greens (wasabi) Cheers!

I'm submitting these on behalf of Big Doofa (https://www.facebook.com/bigdoofaphoto/ ) as he couldn't get his account approved in time for the deadline, he has sent an email to the address listed in the first post though . Here are his 3 entries and one extra one at the end. Hopefully when his account gets approved he'll post some more from this series up to the forums!

Incarvillateine- stronger analgesic than morphine

Just lurking around the interwebs and saw this. I don't think I've seen it mentioned yet, apologies if it has. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23236415 Targeting fatty acid binding protein (FABP) anandamide transporters - a novel strategy for development of anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive drugs. ...Truxillic acids and their derivatives were also shown by others to have anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive effects in mice and to be the active component of Chinese a herbal medicine (Incarvillea sinensis) used to treat rheumatism and pain in humans. Our results provide a likely mechanism by which these compounds exert their effects.
