etherealdrifter Posted June 9, 2013 Hello you wondrous wanderers and purveyors of botanical enlightenment. I'm proposing a melb gardeners meet within the melb botanical gardens - same place as always- Tecoma pavillion, gate C on the Sunday the 7th July. Gatherings begin usually from noon onwards. If able, please bring a plant for a swap, or a joke for me, or some food for all. There's never ever any pressure to perform in in which way or other, except to show up and say hi. So please give feedback and we can make this proposition a realty. Hugs and warm clothes are probably mandatory.

simhanada Posted June 29, 2013 I'm in, looking forward to it as always. ^negatory on that one, gas bbqs only to my knowledge, nice idea though, wouldn't mind a new location where we can cut loose a bit more Yeah, your right. My friend was talking about having a clandestine one. The Darebin Parlands Assoc. have a bon fire there every now and again. Its a pretty amazing piece of land if we want to change up the meet location at anytime. Lots of space(33 Hectares) to run free. http://www.dpa.org.au
irabionist Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) Oooh yes, and we can all get food at Lentils EDIT: Sorry different parklands! But still there's also Abbotsford convent which is relaxing and Lentils is food by donation, if people are interested Edited June 29, 2013 by Sabry
Scarecrow Posted June 29, 2013 I think it might be a bit late to change the venue now, in case some people miss the memo. We should organize another meet after this one instead!
