slice
My favorite pachanoi, called One. Collected in Cajabamba/Peru in 2013. Main characteristics are deep/shiny green color, straight or looking down notches, 6/7 ribs that I know and small spines. This plant has an amazing presence, it seems to glow with life. slice
This "clone one" pachanoi is looking very similar to the "matucana/lima" clone you posted before...interesting !One has a bit larger spines and perhaps a deeper green. Matucana/Lima, not sure it came from a single mother as i started propagating from several cuts. Keep tuned on this post, we can compare side by side. But in that bunch there where more than one genetics, One is the cut in the circle. Im propagating the other cuts collected there and there are differences with One. Sallubrious
Nice plant !, so is clone 2 that you just posted.I'm just curious as to why there was a big pile of logs laying around like that. Are they considered a weed in that region or do they clear them out so the land can be used for something else ?

Are they considered a weed in that region or do they clear them out so the land can be used for something else ?don't know for sure but probably for "cleaning" an inhabited area, this was by the side of the road a couple of km from Cajabamba. I did scan the area with street view (pictured a few years back) and there was no sign of standing plants there, so they might come from an other location and the side of the road used as a "dump"...
