H1 bridgesii

Well it's nearly the 10 year anniversary of getting this plant as a tiny seedling.. To me it's a special one & i think it's time to spread it around (i really didn't want to chop it to be honest but in need of some extra funds ;)

In 2005 i visited Hamiltons nursery & they had a big batch of their bridgesii seedlings ready to go.. there were maybe 3 or 4 hundred seedlings & i had the pick of the bunch.. out of the most interesting/vigorous/pretty plants that i picked, this one was always stood out to me as it was the most vigorous & good looking, had amazing glaukus qualities, always grew in a wonderfully symetrical way & from the very beginning pupped from the base really nicely..

Many people have grown out hamiltons cacti as they supply many bunn*ngs stores & i personally have grown out literally hundreds of their bridgesii & still, this one is by far my favorite, most beautiful, glaukus, symetrical & the very best personality :)

Unless someone has a better example, i would like to propose this fella as the cream of the hamiltons crop.. I call it H1 as i couldn't think of a better name & to me it's by far hamiltons #1 plant.. is there another named clone called H1? if there is i will rename it, so just let me know..

Thanks DB! Can't wait for spring, she's in a 30L pot and i drilled extra holes so it can break into the ground with ease. Can't wait til it's a beast, think I was lucky getting the mid cut with two stumps up top. Made it pup like mad!

I haven’t checked this thread in about 5 years.. It’s really great & very satisfying to see everyone’s progress pictures, even if they’re a few years old now.. if anyone has pics of this clone, please post!
