I love eckhart, osho and gurdjief.

All three could also be bad.

Eckhart charged $1000 to see him in oz. Osho was the same in regards to money and women.

Gurdjief would be get emotional towards people who annoyed him, but this was said to help them wake-up as well.

marx

freud

einstein

not my favourites, but in terms ov having changed society these guys would have to talk the prize.

Marx changed the way we think about politics & ultimately the lives ov millions in the USSR, China, Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, etc. etc.

Freud changed the way we think about ourselves, our dreams, our desires & our children,

& Einstein changed the way we think about time, space, the universe, etc. & ultimately it was his work that led to the development ov the nuclear bomb.

Wilhelm Reich,

Barbara Ann Brennan,

Terrence McKenna,

Erich Fromm,

J. Krishnamurti,

Robert A. Monroe,

D.H. Lawrence,

But in a few hundred years, probably Barbara Ann Brennan would come out no 1.

Julian.

Aldous Huxley deserves mention.

Hegel had some pretty rad ideas, too (depending on one's interpretation).

I second Hunter S Thompson.
