reshroomED Posted January 5, 2007 I liked the idea of the recent competitions so thought I'd start one. Guess the number of flowers that the cactus in this thread will produce and you'll get a nice fat cutting thereof as soon as it's pruned (when the blooming stops or they break, whichever comes first). At the moment there are well over 50 buds (the pics were taken yesterday to indicate timeline) with plenty still appearing. Also, not all buds are visible in the pics, although the majority are. The comp will close if the flowers look like breaking limbs and I need to chop (which I think is likely), or when the last flower closes. Person/s with the correct number (more than one can specify the same number) or those with the closest number below the actual number of flowers at this time will win.
