It is the Cactus and Succulent Society of NSW - and just by chance they hold their 'meet' at a local nursery. There were no exploding cacti or dancing girls - it was pretty sedate for 8am - you would have been disappointed. I thought some of the monstrose stuff (and that Crassula) were quite cool. They do also sell a lot of cactus (for two hours) and in the past i've purchased lophs (for $10) and tbm's and seen trichos - but it's mainly just succulents now and stuff i'm not interested in purchasing. Its actually a fucking madhouse - like a market - too many vendors, lots of people (wow, Asians really love succulents?) and not nearly enough space. Bargains? I guess. Anyway, there are worse ways to spend a Saturday morning.

Sadly I i don't think I saw a single tricho there. Lophs are out of the question! Edit: I take that back after looking at my first photo again! But still some interesting specimens for your viewing pleasure...
