Alright guys, just want to share tech that can be used to fertilize the flower of a cactus that usually needs pollen from another one to develope seed: 1. Get yourself some Cement from the DIY Store. Very fine pulver. The finer the better. But the typical Commercial grade works fine as well. 2. Get yourself a small brush and apply some of the cement dust on the Stigma of the flower on the plant that you want to produce seeds with. Also try to blow a little bit of the dust inside the flower. 3. Cement works as some kind of irritator what makes the flower create some Anti-Bodies that enable her to accept her own pollen. 4. Then wait for half an hour and brush some of the own pollen on the flower and repeat this numerous times. Now heres some additional info: Usually, there is only very few seed to be harvested but it works and the seeds are usually viable. The reason why this works is that cement consists of highly basic calciumsillicates that tremendeously raise the ph of the flower. Because there also are aminoclusters on a pollencorn that are also responsible for raising the ph, the cement has the very same effect. Because of his highly basic potential, cement is even way more effective. Basic niveau reduces the ability of the flower to abort the pollen so it accepts it. IT ALSO ENABLES YOU TO CROSS CACTI THAT ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH EACH OTHER! Like LOPHOPHORA x GYMNOCALYCIUM, MAMMILLARIA, TURBINICARPUS ETC. Its not guaranteed that it works all the time and you have to experiment a lot but i know that it worked in some cases. Another Advantage is that genetecially, defects will be passed down to the offspring so this would be very interesting for pollen from Cristates and other mutants. But in some cases, plants can be weak or not healthy and may need additional generations of breeding in other cacti. The produced Offspring thats created with this tech is not to be seen as clones as there is a recombination of DNA going on, what enables them to cross them in with the motherplant as well. Alright guys, this is no bullshit, its working so use this info to your Advantage and create some fucking freaks. ;) EDIT: I think this Post about encluding electricity is pretty much related so i wanted to merge it with this one but it would be too messy so i just add a link to the Topic. Its called Intergeneric Breeding with Electricity http://shaman-austra...showtopic=30745

Hola corroborators I haven't been on the fora for a while so i thought i would return with a poem. I wrote this one a few years ago whilst tripping balls on life (i.e. completely sober), it has become my happy place so if its naivete is not to your liking please don't tell me i'm a wanger. It's slightly tongue-in-cheek and the I present is not me, i am no acid messiah. It is probably best received when performed but hey, enjoy. Poem As I ride this neon zebra unicorn into the clouds the hairy horn ed tentacle beings swarm exuding laser beams from their bloated protuberances No matter how many, no matter how fast my zebra is too swift, too graceful (Did I mention she flies? cause she totally does.) And when from the tentacle beings I have escaped I will liberate every last fucking one of you with my funky blue vibrations And on a mountain in the sky, we will sit peacefully and I will shoot sunshine into your veins. Do you provide education for free? I don't mean helping someone every now and then, but the hours per week required to really educate a group of people in a structured way. If I didn't earn money from teaching, I would need to earn it elsewhere and would not have time to teach as well. Obviously, education is costly, but that cost should not be borne by the the user. That sets up a system where the educated can afford to educate their children, and the uneducated cannot. That results in a caste type system and doesn't allow people to rise above the situation they were born into. I think the Australian system is good, but unfortunately you have to accept the very rigid form of public education that exists if you do not have the money to pay for an alternative school. The tertiary education system is good. We expect people to show that they have applied themselves in high-school, and then cover the costs until they can afford to pay it back. I think that is fair. We could also have an entirely funded system, but then we would be less likely to fund people who fail units or drop out of courses, and this would make it harder for people who are trying to work out what they want to do at the young age of 18.

good you mention the "project" on ch 5 (which is ten) at 18h, there we can see a perfect example of how they, manage to brainwash and turn around some people. on this show, is a person which i think is called hughs'e (i'm terrible with names), this guy, was ultra cool as a comedian, and his ces comedy stories, produced the biggest laughter ever. so basicly he was one of us, but now that he is married and on that stupid show, he did a 100% turn around, and has become a moral apostel. the lure of money, has converted him, huysi, i'm deeply dissapointed in you! but you know some people are still ultra cool, and not afraid of saying what they feel they have to say (and this includes drug use) and the foremost person of that kind is andrew denton (good news week). as shortly say's in post #17, it's hard to get laws changed for the better, but there are some glimmers of hope. for example, when a sniffer dog, lifted the testicals of a person in byron bay, the whole communety stood up! and this reminds me of some othere awsome people, the people who produce the echo in bb, and the late Nicholas McLeish Shand, who single handedly fought and won a battle, against police misconduct, regarding pot usage!! http://www.echo.net....founding-editor

^^this^^^ ... is something we all should consider, with many presently legal plants, seeds etc. As many people as possible need to be carrying examples of species for when the resatrictions get tighter and tighter. So of course we can all destroy them together when the time comes

wow,it would be cool if you inadvertently gave away the 'next big thing' (ie such as Amarillo or Galaxy, which are closely guarded, and patented strains that are illegal to grow unless you have specific authority to do so). Fuck, patented cultivars, it doesn't really sit well with me.

the oz heimia we have germinates well, and even is very good in selfseeding, i think the issue is, that those seeds are very small, and sometimes, small seeds loose there viabilety fast. your portugal seed was fresh, all your oz seed was not, at least that's my guess.

That Mitchell and Webb Look. It's a cute show, but I was a little disappointed in it over all. The first sketch of the first episode was absolutely hilarious and it got my hopes up for the rest of the show

All 3 pics were taken tonight, and remeber these wernt sown until mid dec 2011 and grafted on the 27th dec 2011, so 1 and a half months growth....im pretty sure from seeing other people previous posts on peres that mine are doing alright?
