theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted February 24, 2013 I'm friendly enough, no doubt ill get stuck in long winded convos with everyone who there's not to swap plants whilst trying to find y'all! So if you see a dude with a scruffy mohawk carrying a box, yell AY KENT OVER ERE OOOAHHH I reckon people bring whatever they have spare, and it can be sold, traded or gifted. I feel it's fair to allow a 'browsing' time before the actuall swap begins, that's if there's enough to have a decent gander at to choose your interests..... If its a smaller turnout or not much on offer then it'll play it's own coarse on how it is ran. But like I said, if there's a good turn out and selection we should try and structure it maybe? How are the larger north coast/melb meets handled? I got SMASHED in the storms last night and my kitty has been reduced slightly. Everything took a tumble or had something tumble on it! It was fucking crazy!! Grafts de grafted, stems snapped at the ground, I'm surprised I'm taking it to well ;) Stoked for next satdy! I shall do a big PM to eeryone this week who registered interest. It was around 15members from memory

OPP Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) No camping for me. Unfortunately I have nothing to trade but cash. Is the meet at on obvious place? Is there only one entry to the basin? Edited February 24, 2013 by OPP

Im trying to psych up to braving my $30 k mart tent for the night. goneski Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) Yep yep.. Not sure if I'll be able to go due to family commitments Might see if I can weasel my way out of that one though, as I'm keen to camp. Or, at the very least, a quick drive through. And there's nothing wrong with a $30 KMart tent.. mine has survived many doofs over the last 6-7 years. whitewind Posted February 28, 2013 Fuck the rain is settling in. "Showers" for saturday, a cool 23. I'll still go
theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted February 28, 2013 If it is rained out, are their any sheltered spots around the grounds? BBQ areas etc??
theuserformallyknownasd00d Posted February 28, 2013 Rain generally equals zero attendance! Maybe a plan should be thought of just incase?
Roopey Posted February 28, 2013 My partner is out of town this weekend...So maybe some people can come here if they are keen to meet but it's raining outside. I'm just in Penrith, so it's not horribly far from the sight. Hopefully we'll actually get to camp though, but just in case send me a PM and I'll give people details that way. inti Posted February 28, 2013 Hi all, Here is a sat image view of park. Is there a location we intend to meet at ? There are two entrances to park also. Maybe an "X" marks the spot to save confusion. Especially for newbies who aren't familiar with SAB faces
Roopey Posted March 1, 2013 The recreation area seems like the best place to start, just in case it is raining. What time are people planning on getting there?
