puppies no longer get the luxury of lounging around in my garage now during the day, locked up tight, I thought it would be a one off but I was wrong! Col has me wanting to build a pergola now lol -

making me drool there Colhawk! I came in again to find 2 doves pecking at my buttons! Grrrrr! some big peck marks in there too and a whole bunch more seedlings destroyed. 2 dogs live in my garage too sleeping through the whole thing! is there anything I should do in regards to the pecks on the buttons or should I just leave them to heal on their own? Lok Im with you, even if they were white doves pecking away the rage would still be there -
got mine today, many thanks

walked into my garage where all my seedlings are and busted a dove running amuck amongst the cacti! lost quite a few loph seedlings as well as various others. One 5cm cactus looked like it had been pecked, plus it took me a good 5 minutes to get the bugger out -
hopefully some left

planted some leaf cuttings and some brug seeds (thanks d00d!) re-arranged my grow light enclosure to fit a few more trays in. Spent 4 hours jackhammering an old fish pond out ready for its new role as a cactus patch bagged 15 bags of mulch from my recently removed peppermint gum and still haven't even scratched the surface... -
I have them growing in my normal backyard soil. They did grow quite big once transplanted but seemed to die off after about 3 months but are now starting to throw new shoots so I am hoping they are a bit more hardy this time around. I also threw a whole bunch of seeds into some soil as a rat had got into the bag and eaten half and now 2 weeks later I have at least 50 seedlings with me doing nothing. We have had some rain in that time though

Finally got to get some pics together, last few weekends have been putting up brushwood over my fence and start planting! Grabbed a whole heap of timber from work and made some make shift edging. The backyard is still a big work in progress but at least now I can see it coming together. Some of these guys came via the Sydney plant swap, wanted to show their new home Planted some of the rusticas in the ground now, they are growing crazy. Thanks Roopey! Got this guy in the ground a little while ago. Grown from cutting Stem and thorns from same mimosa, pricked me yesterday! Mimosa grown from cutting. So tall and lanky Acacia obtus. Grown from seed Acacia madenii grown from seed Red Khat. Thanks Colhawk! Passionflower. Grown from seed I tihnk Yellow Caapi. Thanks spacemonk Coleus, Thanks Dood! Trying to train this girl along the fence. When I mist her I swear the hugs me Recycled the old hardwood timber fence and made some shelves, tidyed up the side of my house that gets nice morning sun. Noticed my loph has flowered again? second time since Christmas Also noticed the very first pach I bought has just sprouted 3 pups Built a make shift lighting structure, have t5s going at the moment with some loph seeds thank to Trichoshaman!
