Dots above number of posts

Okay, time for a real dumb question.

Above my post count is a couple of dots. Two dots. Others have one, some three, others even as many as four.

What are these dots about? I know that more posts/longer = more dots, but what is the exact connection?

I think it jumps at 300 posts to 3 dots and 1000 posts to 4 dots.

true true centipede, tick 4sr

300 to 1000 posts is a very, murky , grey area that once you are there..........you will know the feeling you are feeling at sab is ......either right or wrong for you.

personally, i find it akin to the time in between ingestion and take off.

you know ......that time in space when anticipation becomes reality appreciated.

so don't fucking spend all your 300-1000 posts up too quick fellow travellors...................'cause once you get to a thousand count post level, you' don't want to be regretting not taking the time to savour each and every one of those delicious moments of life that exists between 300 and 1000.

If you go into user CP I think there is a bit called "my content" or something like that. I have never clicked on it but i assume that would be what you are after
