Chiral Posted March 3, 2010 hunab matt wants to bowl a few at u!! again we will need tunes (hunab?) a genny, i can bring a bbq. so get ur asses in gear! lactarius and bacon sangers i tells ya!!! yeah I'm chomping at the bit for this camp I tellz ya...set a date peeps or we just assume it's the last weekend in April same as last year...try and bring some tunes but don't have the slaptop from last year, see what can dig up...ipod works just as well really. Matt wants to bowl a few at me hey...well I hope he likes gettin tonked out of the forest for six every ball then...we'll put you out at silly mid off on the boundary then Jono... Just to let the virgins know, its FUKEN COLD. like -10 cold. so u need to be prepared in advance. Im investing in some long-johns and a balaclava for sure. will also come in handy for scaring the pants of hunab.;). Id like to take my video cam and make a bit of an o-town doco. Horus Posted March 9, 2010 I was applying for holidays tomorrow,and now there is talk of change....... Ok well that suits me. A.cause its harder to get time off on a long weekend,as so many fellow workers have already put in for it. B.having it on the Anzac Day long weekend might limit our privacy somewhat. we could end up with (other) drunken bogans in the camp area. there will be lots of passing traffic out to Jenolan,and possibly rangers,scouts,the legit shroom club etc. I would have thought the first weekend in May would be a lot Quieter and more private. either way,can we just make the date firm. Used to do a bit of solo back-packing in the VIC/NSW high-country in the snow and one of my favourites were ribbed women's stockings. Very comfy (they're actually excellent to stop chafing when breaking in heavy canvas pants etc as well) and *very* warm. Ok I may be old,and a space cadet but am I in another time dimension? I have checked 2 calenders and the 28th is a Wed??? I have just asked another human who is teetotaler and the last weekend that is actually in April is the long weekend of the 24/25. The next weekend after that is.....in my books....the first weekend in May. Is it that people are going on Fri April 30 that it is being refered to as the last weekend in April???...cause the Sat and Sun are in May. Can anybody out there relate to my confusion???
