Chiral Posted June 26, 2009 Damn that's some big news in the world of music...this will be like the death of princess Diana I'd say...the mourning and tributes will be flooding the news for weeks...the guy was amazing at writing and producing there is no doubt about that...such a perfectionist an all...all the other parts of his life are his business, but his writing and dancing etc will surely be what he is remembered for. Legba Posted June 26, 2009 The freak messed with kids. Burn! If the jokes bring a smile to the face of just one kid who has suffered at the hands of such freaks then they're worth posting. A dance floor should be erected above his grave so people can dance there. His music will live on long after his evil ways are forgotten.
ayjay101 Posted June 26, 2009 I heard he died from food poisoning, apparently he had been chewing on some 12 year old nuts. Ba-doom tish
Chiral Posted June 26, 2009 Geeze you lot are like the angry mob with pitch forks...you really let the media get to you huh...what proof do actually have about him being a pedophile..I mean really come on...I'd be happy to join in the fun with all the jokes but I refuse ever in my life to believe anything the mass media has to say...particularly when they start witch hunts on the rich and famous..let me guess you all read People and believe everything in there too...sheesh. Not at all. In all honesty I believe he was a very misunderstood individual and an interesting example of what a very twisted life experience can do. I'm not casting aspersions one way or the other on the pedophile accusations, just sharing the obligatory bad jokes when something like this happens. Such as: What do Michael Jackson and the Collingwood Football Club have in common? They are both black and white and die mid year. and so they continue.... I was speaking to my partner about this exact thing Hunab we were both thinking there was never any criminal prioceedings raised against Micheal all matters were dealt with under civil juristiction I do not know about other people but I certainly feel if someone molested my child I would be letting the police prosecute them and throw them in jail before i even thought of taking a civil action it was truely only ever a trail by media. ~shameless~ Posted June 26, 2009 Sorry guys for the comment in bad taste, , it was just a text i got from my boss, just ignore if it makes you angry. Remember when he tried to settle things down out of court by paying huge sums of money too people, only to be scrutinised further by the media, honestly i think it would suck to be famous like that. One thing is forsure , he was deffinantly the 'elvis' of my time, great singer , dancer and writter of his OWN tunes!!

Legba Posted June 26, 2009 I guess a $26 million settlement was cheaper than mounting a defense that would have cleared his name. Im glad Hitler didnt have a hit record and the ability to start dance crazes.
kenny Posted June 26, 2009 RIP. Lets not judge the dead. Especially when, no matter what kind of a person he truly was, he endured a lifetime of judgment. Not to mention he was never actually charged with the above mentioned offenses, as hard as they tried. On a lighter note. Michael Jackson Farrah Fawcett David Caradine... The mystery of 3's continue. ayjay101 Posted June 26, 2009 I do not know about other people but I certainly feel if someone molested my child I would be letting the police prosecute them and throw them in jail before i even thought of taking a civil action it was truely only ever a trail by media Unfortunately I think you over-estimate the average modern person in this modern materialistic society... most people would rather get as much $$$ from someone as a way to 'get justice' than criminally prosecuting to the extent of the law, especially with the knoweldge that the accused has a LOT of money to throw around.... I reckon advice would have been received at some stage that said the quickest and easiest way to get a lot of money out of the situation would be to aim for something out of court, and to hell with criminal prosecution Some times if you have enough money to do so its just easier to pay people to fuck off and leave you alone. Why would an innocent person ever consider that? I don't want to buy into the debate over whether he was a pedo or not, but I think it's just as bad to trial him as guilty OR innocent with mere speculation
Siggor Posted June 26, 2009 how many times have stories changed throughout the whole thing? then you also gotta ask how money hungry people are? whats the easiest way to get a buck? make up a story and get millions of $

Auxin Posted June 26, 2009 Or if not compassion perhaps a bit broader of a perspective rather than toilet humor and bashing. The dude was dropped into the entertainment industry as a 8 year old, in western culture most everyone, even kids, become sexually active soon after getting famous, people frequently maintain an attraction to the age group at which they first became sexually active. So in essence, not in spite of but rather because of all his faults he was emblematic of a feebly constructed culture of greed for youth, pleasure, and material wealth. A culture we all support with every cheese burger, CD, porno mag, and HD television. He may have been a freak ball, but even the extremes are representative of the system as a whole. On a lighter note.Michael Jackson Farrah Fawcett David Caradine... The mystery of 3's continue. Everyone forgets Koko Taylor, RIP Koko.

Siggor Posted June 26, 2009 i agree too auxin, just one more thing it doesn't matter who it is, there is always going to be that side of people that are going to do the toilet humor thing. just look at what happened when irwin went. doesn't matter what people say its going to happen time and time again.
