Do the US have an existing analogues clause? Section 6(a) seems to be heading in that direction in regard to cannabinoids but section 6( just has a whole lot of specific compounds listed as additions.

Yeah, both those house light shows are awesome. Particularly liked the first one, but it would have been even better seeing it happen in real time. I remember around this time last year the town hall in Sydney had a similar (albeit nowhere near as spectacular) projection thing going on. Was very cool. And while I'm speaking of Sydney, here's a Sydney guy making pretty cool tunes. Not sure how seriously he's taking himself, but I'm digging it nonetheless.

I really like coca tea (although haven't had it for a long time) - I feel it's got a nice sharp (but mild) stimulation and invigorates mood. Not particularly long lasting but followed by a yerba mate gave a nice clean feel. Not as dirty a crash as coffee, which is my current morning stimulant of choice (or habit).

I know the negs thing has been an issue for a long time, but I think it was always the anonymity factor that was the problem. How would people feel about a "dislike" button as well now that it couldn't be done from behind a curtain? - not even sure it's possible in the software, but throwing it out there. Overall, I really like the new system. Seems pretty straightforward with some good improvements. I know the colours will be perfect once sorted.

Hmmm... I'm more likely to get negatised than you, Hillbilly, but I think this thread was an utter waste of space. I'd recommend buy a new one. Second-hand should be fine in terms of the hardwar itself, but if you buy second-hand and the bundled software has required registration you might find yourself locked out from using it with your computer. PM'd.

Best to get an external audio interface. Plenty of pretty good cheap ones around to get started. Basically, you connect to your computer via a USB or Firewire cable, plug mics/instrument jacks into the box and (as long as you're computer is reasonably well specced) you should be right to go. Latency can generally be adjusted within your recording program via a buffer. Decrease buffer speed and you'll reduce latency with the drawback of your computer choking on data if it's not powerful enough. Increase buffer speed to allow a slower computer to cope with the drawback of a slight delay between the data you enter and the data being played back. Most of them come with a free basic version of a recording program so you get going straight away. I've linked to just one store there, but shop around and you might be able to get them a little cheaper. Make sure you buy from somewhere that knows what they're doing cos you'll probably get stuck at some point and need to be able to call up for help. That should fix your clicking problem and latency issues. Probably want to have at least a few gig of RAM in your computer as well.

I'm pretty sure that performing an extraction would be construed as illegal (regardless of the result) if your intention is to extract illegal chemicals from the seeds. Just thought I'd throw that out there to save you taking an unnecessary risk.
