  1. My favourite sub that I saw yesterday THE ATTACK OF THE GIANT MUSHROOM!
  2. Cheers for the public service anouncement, it doesn't affect me personally in the slightest but I understand the need to get this sort of information out
  3. Once colour corrected it looks perfectly normal Alfoil is actually a really good medium to print on as it will clearly ahow both the light and dark spectrum of spores, that and you can fold it up after and keep the print. Cheers
  4. Yeah rusty cinnamon would worry me but chocolate brown just intrigues me.
  5. I've watched a bit of gummo... wow... just wow It's like napoleon dynamite without the obvious humour. I watched Lord of the Rings - Return of the King the other day, worth watching! I've seen it before... but I had nothing to contribute to this thread except my impressions of gummo, whatever that is
  6. Delicious! Figuratively speaking of course. Chocolate brown spores? That's rather odd, they should be deep purple/black, the only psilocybes I know of that have different coloured spores are cube cultivars, PF Redspore and Albino, not that I know every psilocybe out there or anything I'd love a picture of one of these chocolate brown spores...
  7. That's as cool as it is both foreign and disorientating. How can I not recognize my own sky?
  8. Mushrooms when exposed to sufficient humidity will revert back into tertiary mycelium. A good mould test is to get a cotton bud, or in this case something not coloured white and wipe the believed to be affected area. If the colour rubs off onto your cotton bud then it's mould and it's sporulating. Could you get a better picture of the mushoom cap? Unfortunately your thumb is the focal point of that photo.
  9. Oh really? Anywhere you see a bunch of pinus radiata you'll see a few amanita's around providing it's sufficiently moist. They tend to like a bit warmer weather than subs, but will still fruit as it gets colder, just not so much. It's a treat seeing a ring of amanita's directly below a pine tree's drip line Well goodluck with your quest!
  10. They all look like subs to me, some look pretty inedible though, just think... if they were storebought mushrooms would you still eat them? The older they get the more infested with insects they get too, yummy! The third picture is a nice shot, i love the look of subs the day their veil breaks. Remember the colour variation between the stem and the gills, once you've locked that into your brain IDing subs is a breeze.
  11. In a fucked up way it makes sense, I see no reason why it wouldn't pass through parliament over there. It would all be fine and dandy if not for the fact that it's the government doing the studies to determine what's safe and what's not.
  12. The best accidental arguement against drug laws. People don't stop taking drugs when their drug of choice becomes unavailable, they just use other drugs. This is serious not news though. Similar to an article I read last year that stated that they can now prove that alchol lowers inhibitions... wow. I'm glad they can prove that now as I was only going on unreliable anecdotal evidence :/ I guess we do need studies though so we can refer to them whilst passing laws.
  13. Mmmmmm ordered my copy then! Well hopefully, there's not too much time left really.
  14. Oh cheers! I've been told about this but have forgotten all about it till now, something about decay has always fascinated me, i'll watch it sometime in the next few days
  15. Bubble Bobble :D But this is seriously the best music from the C64, it dwarfs EVERYTHING else imo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbNWe6lDdVc
  16. That's probably all i'd see. Is bigger really better though? 100k people seems too much for me
  17. As far as I know it's illegal to sell a bong in South Australia but legal to buy a bong or own an unused bong. I could be wrong but as far as I know it's set up that way to criminalise vendors but not your average joe. I'm looking at buying a new glass bong atm for decorative purposes and thunder, those slinky bongs are nothing like buckets, they're amazingly harsh on your throat, it's like taking five pipes at once, I believe as the smoke gently dances upon the water's surface in a bucket it cools the smoke down which eases the pain. Don't doctors reccomend bongs to those who can't afford vaporisers as it's a form of harm reduction compared to smoking out of a pipe/joint?
  18. Distracted

    Close up

Yummy and bite sized :D Reminds me of pictures of cubes growing out of mops
  19. Distracted

    Back again

Very nice, I didn't think they were subs when I was looking at them. I have no ethical qualms about spreading this particular mushroom but i'm uneducated in the possible damage it may cause. As far as i'm concerned i'd focus more on the benefits of a more mushroom exposed population
  20. MMM amanitas, some milky caps and I think the last one is a gym.
  21. I've thought I was an aspie from learning about it a few years ago but I never went to get professionally checked as I figured there was nothing they could do anyway. I did the link mescalito posted and my result was Your Aspie score: 107 of 200 Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 99 of 200 You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits
  22. That's alright, I like to put the do not eat sign on posts that i'm not 100% sure on. Did you print the caramel coloured one?
  23. None of those are subs, do not eat. Subs won't grow off trees themselves but on wood/leaf litter or from soil that's highly concentrated in... cellulose? Wood stuff!
  24. DO NOT EAT I can't see any actives in there that I couldn't differentiate from a gallerina. Infact your 6th picture in your first post looks like Gallerina Marginata (Unicolour), deadly poisonous. I'd need a good focused picture of the caramel mushroom's gills, unless they're the same as the ones you posted in the second post, which does not = sub. Be careful out there
