  1. There is a generally accepted calculation when it comes to fresh-to-dry mushroom consumption. It states that dry weight is generally 10% of the wet weight, i.e. 20 wet grams of cubensis will be the equivalent, in terms of potency, to 2 grams dry.

     

    That said of course there are many variables that can impact upon this, and it is generally accepted that fresh will have more psilocin/psilocybin than dry due to heat degradation.

     

    This MAY be true in terms of some psilocybin mushrooms, say cubensis, but in my experience it is NOT true, in the slightest, for panaelous cyanescens. At all.

     

    I would suggest that a much more appropriate conversion for them would be 20 - 30% dry to wet, conservatively. I would advise against any but the more experienced psychonauts out there to work out of a 10 - 1 formula. That shit does not apply with pans bruz. Nicht um alles.
