Cube environs = cyan environs. That said I have foraged in paddocks with only cyans, only cubes, cyans then cubes, and cubes and cyans together. I reckon it is connected to spore proliferation for sure, but there is likely way more factors involved, amongst which is probably fungicide and herbicide use related to modern agricultural practices.

The browning mainly and the size of the big one. To be fair the littles ones may be pan cyans, and i have seen bigger examples, but I would advise careful inspection over at least thirty minutes for anything that is not; Blue staining when bent or bruised OR Anything overly stained with black spores, making a clear ID of bluing difficult. Most pan. species aren't going to cause death, but a runny bum and shot guts aren't fun ;) The little one on the left is fairly typical pan cyan presentation, but again I am assuming there has been no bluing; otherwise it is a bit of an easier ID. No blue = antillarum most likely. **On another more careful look the big one might be a cube that is missing the veil remnant. If any of them blued up then

Panaeolus antillarum? Otherwise my guess would be some panaeolus species. I have tended to see antillarum earlier than I do the active mushrooms, and see their appearance as a good omen for things to come ;)

...Surprise!!! Oh, you saw it coming... So just to clarify, only the rich can access it, from people who have no experience with them (other than the expensive training they receive of course) who will charge like wounded bulls for it. But you can't pick it wild and free, because who makes any money from that bro? Oh, and big pharma can 'grow' it, of course, but no-one else. Dangerous shit to be fair. -

In all likelihood, this will not be cheap either, particularly as psilocybin and MDMA are not on the PBS and are unlikely to be covered by any form of health insurance. Private psychiatric services are not well-funded by Medicare, and can cost up to $600 per hour. Surprise!!! Seems a bit steep to gain access to something that literally grows out of the ground, and that human kind has been safely engaged with for thousands of years... Psilocybin is also non-toxic, and I have to say that lumping it in with MDMA for me is a bit of an issue. It's bit like saying cannabis is like meth, for an extreme example. MDMA + dodgy ticker = -
There are no dumb questions mate - I would wager the answer is yes; if there is still moisture in the ground and the humidity is high they will still fruit, just in less profusion.

If you have been getting decent regular falls of 20mm + over a week or so, you might see some about, depending on the elevation as this impacts on the differential between the surface of the land and the water table. Patience and attentiveness are probably the two main things necessary for a positive risk/reward scenario.
