Strontium Dawg
That's nice infinity. Also Bardo, I like the alien at the typewriter. I'm stuck atm. Got a painting half way as usual and can't get past this point. Stuck as fuck. Again.

Is it possible you're stuck because you've actually finished it?

bardo
That's awesome stuff guys, I really like em both a lot The detail and care in that painting infinity is so very good, did you do it ? if so your like a pro : ) Glaukus, As infinity said im keen to see how its going to eventuate but damn man I would love to have that on the wall just the way it is, I feel from that art, there is emotion in it, I feel a kind of lonely but beautiful sadness from it.
Infinity
I wish I had this level of skill but unfortunately my paintings look like something a dolphin would paint at Sea World. The Shamaness painting was done by an old school artist in Vietnam. It took me 3 days of negotiations for him to part with it. I'm not sure if you can see the brush strokes but they are next level. I've never seen anything like it. I had the framing guy offer to buy it off me when I brought it in and a customer that was in the store offered me an obscene amount after I had it framed. Its my favorite painting in the whole wide world. This is my second favorite:
Pedro99
pls don't laugh Never painted before, gf got me some cheap oil paint samples. Did a first layer, the red will mostly be green, apparently red underneath makes the green pop. Trying to paint a scene from tarkovsky's "mirror".

If you hung that as it is in an art gallery it wouldn't look out of place. I like it as it is right now!

Pedro99
Second attempt at painting, gf was watching Scorsese's George Harrison movie and he was peeking through some tulips. He was a kind man. Edited June 3, 2019 by Pedro99

Had to upload a low res, my camera phone makes all my pics around 10mb now.

Alchemica
This is a new start for me. I got a mandala mindfulness mug started by a woman and finished it. It's simple art for me but it's a personally big step I used to gaze at women with the eyes of fear, now I'm finding I can gaze into theirs with eyes of love and healing. They are my mystery angels and medicine women. How can I love them better? Having a bit of trouble sleeping as for once, I have those divine beings called women running wild in my mind
