@Pedropark, you have me more than a little excited with this monumental task you are trying to bite off by yourself. Admittedly, I don't know anything about creating a website either. With that being said, could it also be possible for other members to submit pictures of any noteworthy crosses that could then be reviewed to ensure those crosses went to the right area/cross? If possible, and I may be just dreaming here... could the website possibly have the ability to search by keywords like crested, variegated, etc. allowing you to cross reference easily those crosses that have yielded high numbers of variegaetes, crested, etc? This may be more than your thinking about doing and I certainly don't want to overwhelm you with idea's, but you've got a fellow truly amazed by your willingness to take on such a monumental task and here I am trying to toss more ideas on top of that. Still, better to be heard and tossed away as too difficult or absurd rather than to not be heard and wished something simple had of been implemented earlier. Thank you for the work you have already shared. It is truly appreciated. Here is one site's searchable data base for flowers... if it might help. http://www.daylilies.org/DaylilyDB/?advanced

Howdy,

I like your idea and this is a challenge too. I grow over 300 different crosses and I can imagine the work and time needed for me to get it done for this crosses. There are thousands of crosses out there.

My intention was keeping the track of labeled plants and make a documentation of the anual development, to ensure right labeling and to show how the character of the plant can change overtime. Also to show the diversity.

There are also factors influencing the appaerence of a plant. That should be considered.

I am not sure if my website can handle this whole stuff. So let me try and lets make me my first step. Then we can discuss and have some more information.

I would appreciate to hear/see other opinions too.

Sorry, first time I see this thread. I will read it and will what I can commit. Thanks spacegrandmother101.

I can't recall the correct name for these at the moment. Is the BBB what Zelly refers to as Big Bertha?

Wanted to post a few pics of what a few of  these look like today. They will stay indoors in my mud room for the next 5 or so months, it has large windows facing east and south.

Here is the last batch of grafts i recently made of Zelly's seedlings. So far 42 out of 415a1f3c4e32464_97.62graftingsuccess.thumb.jpg.56878813b9df4260dc29220d666c773b.jpg have started to grow from this batch so we have a 97.62% graft success rate which should hopefully give us some nice specimens to look at as the weather warms up and these grafts start kicking it from first gear to fifth gear. I'm looking forward to the several hundred grafts I have recently done with Zelly's seedlings to give me some eye candy this coming year. Sadly, I can't stop grafting these Zelly hybrids. I keep telling myself no more and yet the seedlings keep jumping up to be grafted.

On  the subject of Zelly’s Zelly hybrids (T. scopulicola x  grandiflorus) are the resulting seedlings diurnal or nocturnal in flowering habit?

Onto a new baby who is showing some variegation today for me.

Trichocereus validus x Variegated Red Grandi. I can't wait to see this one as she matures.

Crested variegated Zelly  crestedvariegateseedling68.thumb.jpg.bd2094fedd5c00752c9d53f44c266b91.jpghybrid. I can't wait to see this one sporting a colorful flower when it gets a bit older. Having a variegated crested with red flowers is going to be nice to carry forth all three of those phenotypes in the offspring.
