Alice Posted March 5, 2013 LOL, it's a typo people Should be E195.00, not E19500.00. Search for just about anything, then sort by highest prices. There's always a few of these. Check out the sellers history, it's all low value stuff in the past.

GoOnThen Posted March 6, 2013 The price is not a mistake unless they have made it a number of times. This has been on e bay before there is even mention of it here http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29730&page=2&hl=%2Bcopiapoa+%2Bcinerea#entry409045 I have also seen this ebay bargain talked about on a number of other forums over the last year but it has never sold Cheers Got

Item 260979560220. Just looks different because one link goes thru ebay.com.au and the other ebay.de. But I think you are indeed correct, since the shipping is 500 Euro, which I didn't notice before. If that is also a typo, that would make the intended shipping price 5 euro, which seems a bit cheap for a clump that size Or maybe in Europe they actually have reasonable postage charges, unlike our good buddies at Australia Post. GoOnThen Posted March 6, 2013 He must be just re listing the old listing because it was discussed on another forum back in August 2012 and I am sure I first read about it earlier than that. He certainly is not a fast learner if he has been listing it for all that time at the wrong price. Ether way it certainly has been a talking point for us cacti nerds for some time Cheers Got
mutant Posted March 8, 2013 Or maybe in Europe they actually have reasonable postage charges, unlike our good buddies at Australia Post. certainly not 5 euros for a cluster of this size european postage would be at least 50 euros for a 7 kilo package
Snowfella Posted March 9, 2013 Least this one has free shipping! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cactus-huge-unique-very-beautiful-/151007746564?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Garden_PlantsSeedsBulbs_JN&hash=item2328c35a04 50,000 Euro for an Echinopsis oxygona
GoOnThen Posted March 9, 2013 Such a rare plant I love this quote For us Victor is priceless……, but I will start the bidding at fifty thousand pounds. I pray that the highest bidder will be the right home for Victor. The reason we are selling Victor is very simple. All the money we get from this sale will go for our children’s education. We have three very smart kids and we want to send them to the best schools available to them. So the price is correct money is for there smart kids education. Parents not so smart. Cheers Got
Foo Posted March 9, 2013 For that much cash youd think he would have measured it rather then provide an estimate...
slice Posted March 9, 2013 (edited) I propose that for a fraction of that money we form an expedition to the Andes and get a few to sell and with the money make a foundation for our children's education. I have been In the Chilean coast (Atacama Desert) and I know exactly where to find quite a few... I will look for pictures in my HD this afternoon I made a 1600 KM bike trip from Ulluni to Northern Chile in 2009... Edited March 9, 2013 by slice

QuantumReality Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) Hmm.. 50,000 euros for this Echinopsis oxygona, named Victor... From a seller in Romania, with zero feedback, appealing to & will only post to United Kingdom. Also doesnt give a correct measurement, and I might add I doubt they would even know what Victor is. Well.. Sounds legit.. FOR SALE SOLD EDIT: Beautiful photos Slice! That would have been a huge high coming across these huge Copiapoas!! Great find!!!
