Hellonasty Posted November 17, 2013 I managed to get some seeds from this batch recently, Nitrogen sent me some from the states but for some reason they never arrived, however a forum member came through for me and I put them down a week ago. I'm very excited after seeing these results HN
hostilis Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) I just planted some too. Mold revenged a lot of them though unfortunately. Of course the one time I get mold is with irreplaceable seeds. I almost cried. Hopefully I get some seedlings though. I think I saved some of them. Edited November 17, 2013 by hostilis
turtle_hermit Posted November 17, 2013 Looking good, hookah! Need to graft a couple of these seed, got some nice looking seedlings.
nitrogen Posted November 18, 2013 To avoid mold, always sterilize/cook the soil mix prior to planting seedlings.
hostilis Posted November 18, 2013 I did sterilize pretty well. But good news. I took them out and did anH2O2 treatment. I replanted them in their own separate containers and I'm seeing sprouts! Super stoked!
tripsis Posted November 18, 2013 Good to hear. Would be sad to lose such precious seeds.
Getafix Posted November 18, 2013 Play spot the freak, heaps of freaky seedling's coming along here. A little hard to see I know, will take more pics once I have re-potted these. I am probably a bit behind a lot of you as have left to grow on their own roots but hey I got time. Thanks again nitrogen.
djmattz0r Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Definitely some funky ones in there! I see a bunch of crests already. Are you planning to graft any or leave them on their own roots? Edited November 18, 2013 by djmattz0r

nitrogen Posted November 19, 2013 I did sterilize pretty well. But good news. I took them out and did anH2O2 treatment. I replanted them in their own separate containers and I'm seeing sprouts! Super stoked! Can you post pics of what you've got in terms of mold? If it's the greenish blackish slimy mossy stuff you might needn't worry - I get that a lot in my seedling trays and they don't seem affected by it.. The stuff that will kill even large trichos is the fluffy white mold - kinda looks like dandelion puff - that stuff is gnarly..
hostilis Posted November 20, 2013 When I get home I will show you. It's the white cobweb like mold. I have it kind of under controll right now by spraying them every day or so with diluted h2o2 solution. They all seem to be still growing and germinating fine. tripsis Posted November 20, 2013 Finally sowed these today. Nitrogen, I'll say it again - you're an absolute legend! Very excited.

hostilis Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) I'm getting almost 100% germination rates from these seeds. Can't wait to see what hidden prizes are in the bunch. :D And nitrogen. I can't get a good pic showing the mold. There's so litle of it now that there isn't much to photograph. But I think it's all under control now. hostilis Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) I have probably 95% germination with all of these seeds. They're way over crouded now because i didn't expect such good results. Thanks nitrogen! I'll update with pictures. Edited November 22, 2013 by hostilis

hostilis Posted December 8, 2013 Beautiful! I'm getting so damn excited about these. Cannot wait till mine get bigger. Too bad cacti grow so slowly. Lol! Here are some pictures of my tiny seedlings. There are some tricotyledon seedlings in these pots. I didn't expect to get such good germination results so now they're way too crouded. I'm going to transplant 2 of the strains to see how they take to it and if they do well I'll transplant the rest of them as well.
