woke up this morning with a sudden compulsion to climb a mountain. when I reached the top just after sunrise, I was told by a group of people there it was the winter solstice. synchronicities never cease to amaze me. happy solstice to you all!

Happy orgies - make sure you point your erection at the rising sun to guarantee fertility.

I saw the most incredible DOUBLE RAINBOW this morning, right above the place I work (which I just announced my resignation from).

I knew it was a sign of good things to come, but right on winter solstice!!! Now that's I call a 'SIGN'!

i don't mean to be a party pooper

some rainbows are exceptionally vivid

but a double rainbow is completely normal, i can't stress that enough, completely normal, so a double rainbow should just be called a rainbow.

Incoming!

A CME propelled toward Earth by the "solstice solar flare" of June 21st may be moving slower than originally thought. Analysts at the GSFC Space Weather Lab have downgraded the cloud's probable speed from 800 km/s to 650 km/s. Impact is now expected on June 24th at 0700 UT plus or minus 7 hours.

In this animated forecast model, the yellow dot is Earth:
