Auxin Posted November 30, 2007 Does your IP change each boot session? Thatd do it Do you have a security wipe scheduled for boot? If so did it get misconfigured to wipe logins?

CyberCat Posted December 5, 2007 What browser? Sounds like you are either clearing cookies automatically on browser close. Yes, very likely. Open Internet Explorer, goto Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab and scroll down to the bottom. Look to see if "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" is checked? Most web surfing privacy software also clears the cache and Temporary Internet Files folder.
teonanacatl Posted December 5, 2007 nope not checked
ballzac Posted December 6, 2007 I'm having this problem too. I used to use Firefox, but the new IE has most of the functionality of FF but uses less CPU and RAM and, believe it or not, is more stable. Thing is, I don't think this happened straight away when I switched over. I've been using IE for a month or two now and only noticed this happening in the last week or so. Anyway, I don't really care as it is not that hard to login, just thought I'd mention it as the topic was already brought up.
