I'm still in. My biggest graft is only a bit over 1cm now, it was done on Feb 4 I believe. Looks very healthy to me but isn't growing anywhere near as fast as yours. I'll get a picture or 2 over the weekend.

Here is one sown before the comp started, its about 0.8cm and growing a flower!!!! Gotta be the smallest loph ever to flower?

Here is my biggest one for the comp, its a double header approx 3cm, looks like crap in this pic but its doing well.

teonanacatl, whats up with that double headed one? is it one plant with a large pup or is it two seperate seedlings grafted onto the same stock? the photo makes it look like two seperate grafts pushing against each other.

I hereby officially announce my participation in the competition

I have had a chronic shortage of stock but I have slowly grafted a loph or two here and there since the beginning of the comp when stock became available so I may actually have a few grafts to show. I've got at least one success so far!

So far grafted diffusa and standard williamsi for the comp, as well as some L koehresii and some named location varieties, which were sown before the starting date, so not a part of the competition but interesting anyway.

I'll post some pics when I have something interesting to show.

i have posted a pic of the only loph graft i have that appeared to work.

most of my grafts did not take. some that did got munched by a rogue caterpillar that somehow got into my growing fishtank.

not very impressive compared to the competition in this thread but im learning and im having fun and thats all that matters (you all better watch out next competition though :P )

Yeah he is, I've seen him graft and he does it with such ease. I have spent hours trying to get the cuts like he does.

Better late than never hey. Warning, LARGE MIDDLE IMAGE! Broadband only.

Building up stock.

My very first ever grafts. I grafted 11 and tonight, 96 hours later. 10 still look perfect the only exception being the seedling I dropped on the floor.

I did another 50 yesturday, also tried some wedge grafts with some older lophs, if they take then ill be doing a lot more of those to use my some stocks. Ive also cut all my graft stocks with grafts on down as they were to difficult to manage at the size they were, so hopefully they root asap and start growing again.

mine had all slowed down for a month as i went back to just the hpw 250W light as the MH kept flicking off the clipsal switch. tried it again last week and it isnt doing it anymore (still buzzing hell loud though) so am back to the 250W MH plus 250W HPS. they seem to have started to grow again. here are 2 pics of my best 2 by far. a cardona with pup and a texana with pup.
