Wonderfull!! Thanks for sharing ferret!!

Love that one that looks paralensis/bridge with the long spines

I would say that is a macro shroomytoonos, but some may think differently, maybe a ss peru.

That flower is just beautiful, almost like an orchid! Top shots.

:)

Wow, fooking incredible! :o Terscheckii & pasacana as well! :drool2:

Are pics 1,2,6,8 & 9 of the same plant or clone? 1 & 2 I've seen before and called macrogonus. If it's the same it's soon prostrate, is a major ribshifter and has a peculiar segmenting which I've only seen in pictures of Huntington Gardens macrogonus, so it could well have originated from there but I have never seen anything like pic 1. That forked mutation is absolutely amazing!

3 I think is crested cereus.

7 is beautiful too, I've seen that clone before but got no idea what it is. Looks worthy though I must say.

Great find ferret! :worship:

Holey bloody dooley! What a great collection! I really like the crestate form - I'd think a cereus too (though before I got the big pic I would have said Myrtillocactus...) Some absolute stunners there champ - hope you are lucky enough to score some cuttings, or possibly some pollen/seeds!

Thanks for sharing man - you've made my day

1 & 2 are the same plant and yeah it has a prostrate habit, i remeber seeing some of your pics from country SA which look the same, quite a weird one hey.. 6, 8 & 9 are all seperate plants from a different garden. yep 3 is a crested branch off a normal cereus, i dont think 10 is a tricho either but looks awesome anyway.. im pretty sure the owner called #7 T. rosei, but i remember reading in trouts notes that it was a synonym for peruvianus.. BD thinks its close to pallarensis perhaps..

cheers fellas, ive got about 20 more pics to go so keep checkin back in!

didnt get any cuttings this time, and most of the pollen was already snaffled by some hungry bees.. managed to get a bit of the terscheckii pollen though if anyones interested..

strangebrew do you think that flower with the bees is a terscheckii?

It seems a bit odd to me to be so close to the ground but you're in a better position to know. Was it from a plant like the pic before and look like those flowers? . I'd seen the terscheckii in the local botanic gardens flower from about halfway up before. That was before some total f*cking arsehole decided to cut it in half for his own collection.:angry::angry:

BTW are these recent photos? Just seems a bit late for all the flowering.

on with the slide show then hey. first two are the same plant, one of the most fragrant trichos ive come across. i think the one on the far right in the second column is a Borzicactus... second last is a yellow flowered huascha, the pink flower is Echinopsis seminuda..

Wow! My eyes nearly popped out of my head! Great photos Ferret.

I have photo in "Cacti and Succulents" which looks like the one above the pink flower, labelled T. Tephracanthus.

Inspiring stuff. :drool2:
