    Tropical plants indoors over winter

Can you tell us how tall your plants are and how much surface area they would take up.

    Coca Colla

Yeah thats true, things do change. I just don't think it will in the foreseeable future (my time). Big Pharma influence$ government a great deal. I remember reading just recently about new trials with psychedelics, this is good news and hopefully it can help a few people. I guess not many (including myself) would have thought that would happen even 2 years ago.

    Coca Colla

Yeah, like that's ever going to happen. I seem to remember another story about South America "Coca Cola". It stayed in business for a while but then collapsed. I can't remember the country or brand though??

  5. "Steam distillation of the leaves gave an aromatic oil in 5.8 % yield. Various levels of safrole content between collection groups where recorded via fractional distillation and gas chromatography at (i) 72%, (ii) 90% mean / 93% best, (iii) 37%, and (iv) 0%." (Australian Journal of Chemistry. 1961;14:663-664) You will probably find that actual yields will differ depending on time of year, soil, condition of plant, etc. There are quite a number/variety of Eremophila species, many of which have been used in traditional medicine by aborigines. e longifolia has good antiseptic properties due to safrole of which it is found in good concentrations as apposed to other species of eremophila.

    Fraudulent Sellers List

If someone is sending stuff through customs there needs to be certain forms attached, I had something on the AQIS OK list but not all procedures where followed so they detained them. Some of the product that Dirty Sanchez was selling was way undervalued - sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Thanks anyways for the heads up about a dodgy seller, Atlas.
  7. I understand the feeling Wood, just have a read through old posts to build up knowledge, try and find a niche interest and I guarantee their will be dozens of similar minded people willing to chat.
  8. Very true, Dawkins does not seem to even want to challenge his own beliefs. It is good to hold an opinion, but we all should seek to make sure that what we believe in is still "correct".

    Fraudulent Sellers List

While I like the concept of a list there are a few issues. Some I can think of are -Bastards sign up with a new username -Stuff you order from overseas not getting through customs. You take the chance and you might get sent the red card. Not necessarily the fault of the sender. -Sometimes things really do get lost. Best to stick with reliable sources/ people with a few years activity.

    E. coca seeds

When would your plants be in berry? I doubt they would get through, customs is very vigilant here.
  12. Sorry to hear you got ripped off Atlas. I remember a small while ago where Larosini was trying to sell e coca. It seemed a little fishy, plus totally illegal in Aus. Don't lose faith in community and I guess just deal with people who come recommended or who have been here for a fair bit.

    who could make this???

Make sure to use lead free solder. Silver solder costs about $17. You could end up spending more by building. Depends on how valuable you consider your time or if you are treating it like a hobby/learning experience.
  15. Enjoyed the shopping video, those lads are brave. I thought it was funny/sad about the double standard of their filming versus CCTV in shopping centre.

    419 eater

I know someone who got a 419 in snail mail, looked all formal and personalized. Of course it said he had inherited a ridiculous amount from a relative he knows never existed.

    Importation of Coca Leaf Tea

The buzz could be a type of placebo effect, you're expecting a buzz so that is what you get. There are other substances in coca leaves that give the body a pick-me-up similar to caffeine, but much less so than cocaine. Ecgonine is another substance that is in coca leaves and you guessed it - banned. The law is pretty clear when it states that no cocaine is allowed-period - unless you have legal permission to import. Therefore the leaves are decocainised or this dude is going to jail.

  20. Agreed, but you can't eat gold and quality dope should be periodically disposed of This is a tough one, why I enjoy friends and food from other places, you really need to have a stringent immigration process that weeds out the good from the bad. A classic example is when Cuba emptied their prisons and allowed them to go To US. The Miami area ended up with very serious crime problems. You also can't take your immigrants from one or two countries, this is one way the US has been successful by having a variety.

The Hemperor, Jack Herer has Died

RIP Jack, God Bless They can't raid you anymore.
  22. "Global Swashbuckling" I'm going to try and use that term in a conversation this week.
  23. Rome fell, but it did continue on in other forms - eastern empire/catholic church. I wouldn't say that it will become phased out in every country, but it makes sense that they would want to do away with it. For example: People are buying drugs with cash, therefore if we go cashless so that we can combat it. Solution: Keep selling drugs and take the money through Paypal and register transaction as "books". Government response: We will still bust you for selling drugs, but thanks for the tax money, suckers. Just look at all the ways cash is being phased out, very soon your mobile will be your wallet.
  24. I think that people give too much credit to these shadowy organizations like Bilderburg / Illuminati, call it what you will. I doubt that some individual who is now long dead thought that he would be able to take over the world in his time. I mean there are nations that will never cooperate with the idea of being taken over. Now granted many former bitter enemies in Europe have essentially handed over control to a centralized authority there is still plenty of bickering and Europeans are fairly like minded. I do think that there is a coalition, (not a conspiracy) of individuals/countries that do think that they know better and that a global government will solve the worlds problems, but I don't think there is a Illuminati type org pulling the strings behind the scenes.
  25. Eventually cash will be made obsolete by governments, firstly by countries with smaller populations or totalitarian governments, then bigger ones. There may be some disaster or great event that might facilitate this "need". Reason why it will happen - taxes, governments are addicted to your money and they want it.
