  1. Howdy PH ahem... I mean withdrawal clinic. I have been a member here for a very long time but am unfortunately non active for some time now but I still frequently lurk. Would definitely be interested in coming to a meet up with you man. I would of course need some certainty on the when but otherwise this sounds cool as. Surely there are other old school mofos that still lurk around here that remember plant helpers invaluable contributions. Don't leave a bro hanging too long.
  2. If it is possible to do so I would recommend going walkabout for a while. It can truly work wonders for reviving the self.
  3. Torsten, I love my plant collection more than anything else that I possess & SAB has played an enormous role in making it happen. I will support whatever needs to be done to keep this place around. Much respect mate

    Charity

Hi Anodyne, I am currently running a charity concert to raise money to help me complete a youth centre. I entered this field over a decade ago to give back what was given to me. I was homeles from the age of 13 & without the help of homeless charities I would be dead or in jail. So far this year I have helped a very large number of homeless find stable accommodation & provided food for many starving families. The truth of the matter is that the government doesn't care & all government support will be extinct very soon & people like myself & the charities we support are desperately trying to find ways to become self sustaining in order to continue providing services to those most in need. I sincerely hope you will check out my thread & help spread the word. http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?s=e7df4bffd2f5ff6f7d0d551a3d7d3e9b&showtopic=39052 Cheers
  5. Here's a couple of pics of my voacangas in flower for comparison. EG your plants do not look like voacanga to me unfortunately.
  6. I've never actually seen Underbelly so can't contribute any insight on it's worthiness I'm just aware of it's existence.
  7. Hey Mutant, you might get a kick out of the Underbelly TV series. All Australian True Crime Stories.
  8. Dying Breed. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1064744/
  9. Both of these can have varied germination times, sometimes many months IME (depending on age, source, weather). Try increasing the humidity by placing the seedling pots into large ziplock bags.
  10. I've had plenty of seed packs confiscated & destroyed even ones that are listed on ICON as OK to import without a permit. The packages are destroyed due to an inspector deciding for one reason or another that they are not permitted entry. Having said this, I order alot of seeds from overseas & the majority of them get through no worries. If the plant material that was intercepted was a clear cut illegal import then I would say that it is likely that you are on a targeted list of some sort. On the flipside the person sending things your way could be on a register of some kind or it could be as simple as the person sending the paperwork just neglected to declare what was in the package. Who can really say? Best bet is to cover your ass if need be.
  11. That's a tasty selection of seeds, I am definity keen. Happy Birthday Corey
