Doing a extraction ( where legal )on Peyote would probably just yield you the mescaline as that is what most extractions are designed for. So it would completely waste the myriad of other alkaloids present.

A FOAF has had the good fortune to participate in a DMT session where a large dose was ingested along with a MAOI and he found that he would classify it as a positive experience. He cannot identify any specific ways in which it was good for him but he definately felt a deep serenity and peace as the experience was wearing off. This FOAF has also recently been supplied with some DMT blended with mullein and mint ( a very nice and easily smoked blend). With this smoking blend he can smoke enough to have things morph on him but it doesn't seem to be accompanied with any changes in psychological or emotional states. When he reaches this level he is about ready to faint and his head feels like it under alot of pressure. What he wants to know is. Can anything be gained from smoked DMT.

This FOAF is actually a gnome. ( I was a little embarrassed about having a imaginary friend) Has started to break through. Found "Natural Highs" by Patrick Holford and Dr Hyla Cass. The book was on sale for $10 a QBD and I would say it is one of the best books I have read on the subject. It covers neurotransmitters and their precussors as well many of the most common plants,drugs and medications. Whilst there is probably nothing in the book that hasn't been talked about in these forums over the years it does have the advantage of all the information being in the one easy to locate and read book.

What I am saying is that it is not really possible to say that one is more potent then the other because they vary so much

I think it is generally considered that the amount of genetic variability amongst Trichs makes it impossible to compare as one Peruvianus might have more alkaloids then a Pachanoi but a different Pachanoi will have more alkaloids the a different Peruvianus
