  3. By Stephen Hudak, Orlando Sentinel5:27 p.m. EDT, August 29, 2014 Winter Garden Mayor John Rees asked police to remove a man from a City Commission meeting Thursday night because he refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. "I just said, 'Either stand or go in the hallway.' He wouldn't," said Rees, 64, who was elected to a third, three-year term in March. "It wasn't premeditated. I just reacted. It hit me. I said it. I gave him an option. ... Life will go on." Rees said he considered the man's refusal to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance to be disrespectful to American military troops who are serving overseas and others who have given their lives in defense of freedom. The man was identified by City Manager Mike Bollhoefer as Joseph Richardson, 51, who has repeatedly asked the city to change its invocation policy. According to the city's recording of the meeting, Rees asked everyone to stand first for the invocation, which is a brief ceremonial prayer or reflection that opens Winter Garden commission meetings, and then for the pledge. "I don't think I have to," Richardson said while a crowd of 150 people stood and waited. With Richardson seated, Commissioner Bobby Olszewski offered the invocation, asking for a blessing on the citizens and city staff. "We thank you for allowing us to be in a country where we're free to believe and think and pray," he said. After the prayer, Rees addressed the seated Richardson. "Now, sir, please stand while we do the pledge. You don't have to say it, but please stand," the mayor said. When Richardson didn't rise, the mayor spoke to police Chief George A. Brennan. "Chief, ask him to either stand or please escort him out till we get through the pledge," the mayor said. The police chief approached Richardson and asked, "What are you going to do?" Richardson then rose and left. He was not arrested. Though Rees said he did not know Richardson by name, he recognized him from previous meetings as the man who sits in the front row and then leaves after the invocation and pledge. "He doesn't come to the meetings because he cares about the city," Rees said. In emails to Bollhoefer and City Clerk Kathy Golden, Richardson has asked the city to allow him to give an invocation — a duty reserved in Winter Garden for city commissioners or, on rare occasions, a clergyman picked by the mayor. "As a resident of Winter Garden, I would like our city to be known for its inclusiveness for all points of view and its respect for all individuals," Richardson wrote in May. "Opening up the commission meeting invocations to everyone would be a wonderful step in that direction." Richardson could not be reached today by phone or email. Consisting of 31 words, the 122-year-old pledge has been the subject of debate and legal battles for years, including a notable one in Florida that led a federal appeals court to rule that it was unconstitutional to force students to recite — or even stand "at attention" — for the pledge. The Florida case involved an 11th-grader at a school in Palm Beach County whose parents sued in 2005 after the teen was punished and ridiculed by his teacher for refusing to stand while his classmates recited the pledge. The mayor of Winter Garden was wrong to require Richardson to stand, said Baylor Johnson, spokesman for the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida. "People are not required to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance or a sectarian prayer or any kind of compulsory expression just to attend a public meeting," he said. "The problem with telling people they have to participate in any mandatory expression is that it tells people who might have a religious objection or other deeply held belief that, if they don't go along with what the government tells them to do, they aren't welcome in this community." Johnson said they had not been contacted by Richardson. The mayor's ultimatum — stand or leave — "is exactly the kind of thing we have a First Amendment to prevent," Johnson said. The Wisconsin-based atheist group Freedom from Religion Foundation emailed the mayor and the police chief asking both to explain at the next meeting that citizens are within their rights to stay seated for the pledge. The email said the man who was asked to leave the meeting is a member of that organization. The group also promised to attend the commission's next meeting and vowed to stay seated during both the invocation and pledge to protest "these egregious violations of the Constitution," according to the email, sent by its staff attorney Andrew Seidel. In his email to Rees, Seidel said the group has a video of the incident during which someone in the audience shouts, "Just stand up, man."

    My worm farm

yeah nice thread ... i've been worm farming since July 9 but already it seems like forever... I ended up with a mix of Eisenia Fetidae and Perionyx Excavatus (Blue Worms) they are usually stretched out longer and move quite fast... and can be quite jumpy when first putting in a bin.. the first day I had hundreds of them crawling on the lid.. if i hadn't put it on they would have got away but since then I use a light and they stay put and no reason to use the lid anymore I think its better for them to get air anyways... alot of ppl complain about them but I recommend them for warmer climates.. the reds look lazy and slow down when its warm but they just keep on munching.. the drawback for the blue worms is they can't handle cool temps ... anything below 45F/7.2 C, i've read will zap them i started with 3,000 worms approx and well it maybe too much for the bin but they sure have been eating alot ... I use alot of castings and they can be pricey so I figured why not? a little work up front but pretty much low maintenance and they make up for it by taking care of the scraps.. they love rotting tomatoes and mushy pumpkin , tea bags whatever .. epsecially sweet things and I top wth alot of leaves and then newspaper on top and so I don't have to spritz with water all that much I didn't even think about baking eggshells! lol the first round I was literally peeling the crap out of the eggs and when I got done I was thinken SCREW THIS ... so I started lightly rubbing out the internal egg skin stuff and then just sun baking but probably most effiicent to just toss them on a cookie sheet in the oven... I just keep a bunch of finely powdered shells around and throw in a sprinkle here and there or mix it with some of the frozen scrap goo that I feed'em... they always go for the freshly rotting stuff first tho especially fruits... i've even been throwing in a shit ton of pereskiopsis leaves in there from when I do grafts... finally a good use for them and they help a little with moisture... (someday im gonna try making a pereskiopsis recipe with the leaves lol) anyways worm farming is HIGHLY recommended for anyone who eats and who has alot of plants... theres at least one farmer with some guinness records who says the key is compost tea... he doesn't say worm tea specifically but thats what its best for eh

    Cup of silver eggs

yeah im getting them in mostly peaty soils .. found some more the other day, but they all have black eggs here theres supposed to be different varieties but also they can vary in appearance ... the silvers look neato... the ones here seem to have lots more seed looking eggs than that like maybe a dozen or so per nest... my first thought was tiny aliens I also had leopard earth balls growing out of some manure based mushroom compost last year... I was hoping they were truffles lol

    Quotes of the day.

Deep down in our non-violent creed is the conviction there are some things so dear, some things so precious, some things so eternally true, that they're worth dying for. And if a man happens to be 36-years-old, as I happen to be, some great truth stands before the door of his life -- some great opportunity to stand up for that which is right. A man might be afraid his home will get bombed, or he's afraid that he will lose his job, or he's afraid that he will get shot, or beat down by state troopers, and he may go on and live until he's 80. He's just as dead at 36 as he would be at 80. The cessation of breathing in his life is merely the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit. He died... A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right. A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice. A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true. So we're going to stand up amid horses. We're going to stand up right here in Alabama, amid the billy-clubs. We're going to stand up right here in Alabama amid police dogs, if they have them. We're going to stand up amid tear gas. We're going to stand up amid anything they can muster up, letting the world know that we are determined to be free! - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Selma, Alabama, 8 March 1965 "I pulled this right off the youtube vid pages in someone elses post and pasted it here, cause it belongs in your mind"

    World Peace?

I guess its debatable whether or not this is accurate but still interesting to ponder what we might be headed towards http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/politics/world-peace-these-are-the-only-11-countries-in-the-world-that-are-actually-free-from-conflict-9669623.html ------------------------- With the crisis in Gaza, the rise of Islamist militants in Iraq and Syria and the international stand-off ongoing in Ukraine, it can sometimes feel like the whole world is at war. But experts believe this is actually almost universally the case, according to a think-tank which produces one of the world’s leading measures of “global peacefulness” – and things are only going to get worse. It may make for bleak reading, but of the 162 countries covered by the Institute for Economics and Peace’s (IEP’s) latest study, just 11 were not involved in conflict of one kind or another. Worse still, the world as a whole has been getting incrementally less peaceful every year since 2007 – sharply bucking a trend that had seen a global move away from conflict since the end of the Second World War. The UK, as an example, is relatively free from internal conflict, making it easy to fall to thinking it exists in a state of peace. But recent involvement in foreign fighting in the likes of Afghanistan, as well as a fairly high state of militarisation, means Britain actually scores quite poorly on the 2014 Global Peace Index, coming 47th overall. Then there are countries which are involved in no actual foreign wars involving deaths whatsoever - like North Korea – but which are fraught by the most divisive and entrenched internal conflicts. The IEP’s findings mean that choices are slim if you want to live in a completely peaceful country. The only ones to achieve the lowest score for all forms of conflict were Switzerland, Japan, Qatar, Mauritius, Uruguay, Chile, Botswana, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Panama and Brazil. And even those countries are not entirely exempt from other problems that, the IEP says, could lend to conflict further down the line. In Brazil and Costa Rica, for instance, the level of internal conflict may be the lowest possible – but civilian access to small arms and the likelihood of violent demonstrations are worryingly high. Switzerland is famously detached when it comes to any external conflict, and has a very low risk of internal problems of any kind – but loses a number of points on the overall index because of its proportionately huge rate of arms exports per 100,000 of the population. The IEP says that for a country to score at the lowest level for all its indicators for conflict, it must not have been involved in any “contested incompatibility that concerns government and/or territory where the use of armed force between two parties, of which at least one is the government of a state, results in at least 25 battle-related deaths in a year”. Harder still, analysts from the Economist Intelligence Unit must be satisfied that it has “no conflict” within its borders. This rating on civil unrest cannot even include “latent” conflict involving “positional differences over definable values of national importance”. The Global Peace Index measures the latest data up to the end of the year before – meaning that the state of international conflict right now is actually even worse than the study suggests. With the protests over the World Cup still vivid in collective memory, for instance, Brazil might find itself off the list of peaceful countries by 2015. Speaking to The Independent, the director of the IEP Camilla Schippa warned that the state of peace in our time has been “slowly but steadily decreasing” in recent years. “Major economic and geopolitical shocks, such as the global financial crisis and the Arab Spring, have left countries more at risk of falling into conflict,” Ms Schippa said. “In the last year we have seen a large increase in terrorist activity, a resurgence of conflict in Gaza, and no resolution to the crisis in Syria and Iraq. “Outside of the Middle East, civil unrest in Ukraine has turned into armed rebellion, and there has been increasing violence in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.” She added: “Continuing global unrest means that there is unlikely to be a reversal of this trend in the short run.” To explore the 2014 Global Peace Index in full, visit: http://www.visionofhumanity.org/#/page/indexes/global-peace-index

Skinny bottomed scopulicola, bury or not?

not that I know alot about planting them in the ground and I certainly think Scop is more likely to thicken up than the Saguaro, but if you have some strong winds in your area i'd probably bury it deeper.. just something to think about but not to worry too much... the wind usually goes around them but I know scops can get pretty heavy clubbed heads or at least they look heavy... Saguaros are a much woodier plant I would think and a plant that handles more extemes whereas triches come from more temperate zones and not they can't handle it but they just haven't spent as many centuries evolving that way.... thats a pretty neat pic tho.. just wow .. really I think either way is fine but i'd just go deeper for looks and sturdiness early on, or maybe even grow out a fat tip and plant it, and replant the smaller base to produce tips or something I don't think more sunlight is a big deal cause they grow fast enough and more roots can only help but probably a good idea what zelly said to make sure the soil around drains well... but I wouldn't do a big hole full of sandy soil surrounded by clay or you'll just get a pool and soil that turns to "pudding" eh im sure most ppl probably know that already tho also if you have freezes in your area i'd bury deeper.. the reason i say that is my experience so far.. I have several skinny necked plants that simply bent over at the necks over the winter but that was in pots... im not sure how cold it got to trigger it, was pretty damn cold and I had to replant a few because of that ... the freezes we get here are the same reason i have none in the ground but im gonna try a few in raised beds and then cover the beds over wintertime to keepem dry and also im gonna plant some cold hardy ones on opuntia stock that is root hardy and see if things work out.. i guess if you plant them in the ground regularly then you are obviously in a warmer zone than me lol oh well its 4:30 am here
  13. I already changed my mind on it... I first searched a bunch of those listed species and since there are so many mamms i was seeing mostly the globular types and then finally I looked a little harder a couple daze ago and saw a strange one that wasnt' a match or anything but shared some of the subtle wierdness
  14. I think that religions can in fact be inspiring... but the exception would be the 3 forms of abrahamism... which are much more like malicious software... you might see a nice inspirational quote on the net, click to read more and it takes you to a porn site, that installs a trojan, and before you know your, your home page is set to internalconflict.com, but your computer reacts and says "Demons and/or infidels and/or Goyim ahead, would you like to reformat your hard drive?" ... to proceed click yes. If not here is some Kool Aid. You know you are going to burn in hell for eternity if you don't reformat, now drink your kool aid bitch... ..... eh.. the very idea of a god sending you to hell for not obeying, or being able to figure out which denominations particular rules are accurate, points to the behavior of in fact a devil... for whom else would say, obey me and do as I wish or you will burn for eternity? Of course I know not all xtians believe in a literal hell, they have to bend the picture somwhat to rataionalize their own twisted psychology. Islam is just the last example of a case where one of the three left the marriage of governance and religion intact... and the ahskenazim, thats a whole differen can of worms... the old testament is filled with language which supports classism and racism and encourages chosen one syndrome aka, god complex @ moral superiority (aka jewish arrogance) because they follow whatever stupid cultural rules that they do... the big excuse seems to be "oh it was different in those days" the fact is, the story which is the foundation for all 3 religions, starts out with a god figure asking a man to cut his child in half to prove his honor to god and no one thinks its insane... in the bible god destroys an entire people, even intentionally flooded the planet cause ppl were unholy... PPl here in the bible belt who have conformed or brainwashed firmly from the beginning of their childhood are known as "God Fearing Christians"... why in the fuck would you use the word "FEAR" in connection with what is supposed to be a loving god? A loving god whose book reminds us that in the old days, the bigot class were encourged and allowed to smite many a man on his behalf... if the fucker was real that would be a straight up terrorist but i guess we'd have to see if we could get a fair trial in coury by a jury of our peers... http://armageddonconspiracy.co.uk/The-Trial-of-God(2458014).htm Christianity has one majorly positive attribute and that is that a large percentage of modern xtians have evolved different denominations which evolved by taking into account the lessons of the past, whereas the zionists and muslims are still like spoiled ass psychotic kids who continue to throw rocks and firecrackers...I do understand the muslim response, hell I would be pissed too with the occupation... anyone willing to commit the atrocites of IS or even a more milder example, to make all the women dress up in robes and cover their faces, is living in a real fucking backwards psychotically challenged culture.... not that it gives any validity or justification for the provocations which go back and forth between the feuding brothers... back in the dark ages, when the templars and masons weren't corrupted bodies of nationalists (the mason attitude varies around the world though a mason will tell you all brothers share the same morals BULLSHIT) they actually took on the atrocities of the church and effectively shut it down... Christianity is mild in comparison to the insanity of Judaism and Islam, only because it was shattered into 40,000 pieces which have all evolved into more tolerable forms of ridiculousness. if there is ever going to be a more peaceful middle east, with sustainabile peace for the long term, it will be due to the elimination or absolute shattering of the abrahamic paradigm... just like the masons had to operate in secret for hundreds of years operating against the will of the catholic church, muslims who would rather just not be hateful also have to work in the shadows at least in many parts of the mideast... we all know how cruel humans can be when you seem different to the local customs and status quo, and in muslim culture this example is quite extreme... where folks who don't want to convert this way or that way are literally executed... There are more peaceful examples of muslim cultures... For example Iran has the most living Jews and I think xtians too.. Major difference between the Shi'ites and the Sunnis for sure... I don't think the atrocities of the christian dark ages pale in comparision... They are equal in comparison... to say the atrocities of christianity are not as bad as the islamic atrocities is like saying rape is okay if you do it nicely. Mistreatment of our fellow brothers and sisters, particularly murdering them, is equally as bad no matter what method is preferred... there may be some stupid examples in history of what men consider to be "Freedom" but if you understand what was being tolerated in those times, then you can sort of get an idea of what types of solutions we may have to consider if there is ever to be a legitimate intervention. People like us, Woof Woof, who don't exactly vibe with the religious ppl around us , would have absolutely been castrated a few hundred years ago for expressing our views honestly... and depending on what time period, that could have been by xtians, muslims and jews... and so I think I should be proud to express mine so openly on the internet.. I might catch a hater or two, but shit I don't have to live with pent up hate though I often find myself disgusted with the sugar coating I encounter.... Yeah my view might be a little extreme sometimes but ultimately my wish is that at some point we can make sure each and every kid, from every race, creed and nationality, gets a clean start and a fair chance at an open mind... I can work with christians and even the more open minded and gnostic sort of branches of islam and judaism, however I cannot tolerate classism, racism, mistreatment of our species... IMHO murder is only okay when murdering a murderer, which is essentially saving innocents by removing the trouble maker. I think hitler was wrong to exterminate the jews but I do believe he had a legitimate beef with a small minority of them which were successful in subverting the jewish mentality in support of their empires... and here we are today, decades later, and centuries past many older examples dealing with apparently an untouchable minority who are the benefactors and inheritors of great fortunes, of long passed dividers and conquerors. But I think anyone who looks at the big picture and who wants to make the world a better place, cannot do so in ignorance of the psychological disorders whose roots are found dangling in the 3 dominating holy books... we're talking about the idea, that some of the most intelligible people on earth, have accepted answers to unanswerable questions, by relying on the advice of ancient prophets... and this leads to the question of separation of church and state.... my question would be how do they pull it off? so if a Mormon becomes president, he only has Mormon views one day per week and the rest of the week he is a rational D00d??? C'Mon Now! I don't think buddhism is a bad haven for peaceful people.. there is a lot of fine wisdom written about from the east, but its just that you don't find those neutral groups on the front lines of change... here is something I found on a rose croix site straight out of the pages of Morals and Dogma: The first Masonic Legislator whose memory is preserved to us by history, was Buddha, who, about a thousand years before the Christian era, reformed the religion of Manous. He called to the Priesthood all men, without distinction of caste, who felt themselves inspired by God to instruct men. Those who so associated themselves formed a Society of Prophets under the name of Samaneans. They recognized the existence of a single uncreated God, in whose bosom everything grows, is developed and transformed. It would be nice if modern buddhists took on this example but just like any religion they tend to evolve in different directions, just as has freemasonry which in some places is quite respectable but in other places is more on the ridiculous side... lodges used to be held together by brotherhood and common causes, and nowadays, at least in the american lodge system, its a system of convenience only held together by dues paying cardholders, with plenty turning their backs to corruption. Im pretty sure some of the lodges here are still segregated there was some contraversy a few years ago regarding black and white lodges. If you want to hear an ethical mason speak I think one should look into Manly P Hall theres a ton of his lectures online but he's very monotone and not very a.d.d. friendly... though its worth toughing out for a nice peaceful message and tons of wisdom... but for anyone who gets offended that I think modern masonry is stupid in many places, theres a quote by Manly that says, the true mason is a often times the wanderer without a lodge... I bring up masonry and any esoteric society for the reason that it is COMPLETELY relevant, though I don't cast any blame on any particular group for any of the worlds problems but rather just to point out that we have not conquered the darkness in humanity and instead in our path we've changed our habits in free societies to the point that we've become the best friend of Greed and its quite sad that so many can't see the dangers of materialism.. American lodges in particular are strife with greed and corruption and yet its ez to cause some tension by pointing it out.. Occasionally one might meet a younger inspired masons who is gonna set the world on fire, usually a positive message and all that jazz but then you look at the old examples and realize they havent done shit but collect dues and donate to charities for a century or more... So anyways I don't think any solutions will be coming out of masonic lodges, but again I bring it up because I think its the greatest example in history for handling unchecked abrahamic based cultures which have gotten out of hand on the human rights issue. im sorry but I just feel like ppl tend to sugar coat one form or murder and brainwashing because another group does it more gruesome and violently. often times you can't finish a conversation about this with an xtian without them pointing to a more hanus example of cruelty, as if thats some sort of justification for the abuses of the past or even the struggles we're still dealing with today... Psychologically I think we have become so indifferent because theaters are so filled with violence and gore... im not anti hollywood magic or anything but I view television as being the only true gateway drug, and what it does by virtue of propaganda and sales psychology is rewire our reward centers in the name of sales... seems innocent up front but the consequence could very well be that it leads to crumbling societies... Its certainly not making our cultures any better... The only way to move dramatically closer to world peace, is to destroy the other two abrahamic viruses in perhaps the same way christianity was shattered when religious governance found the height of its abuse, and that was when good uncorrupted brothers, operated in the dark to bring down the beast... only when you destroy the root of the problem will we be free of this terrible nightmare. ABRAHAMISM in all shapes and forms, is a stain on the human race. religion, quite inspiring indeed.

    Bolivia stands up to israel

"I won't discuss it here" why not? can of worms? lol Im fully aware that ALOT of ppl took part in the slave trade... it even says in the old testament the rules for obtainting a slave a.k.a. Torah "back to Bolivia stands up to israel" probably a good idea
  17. most of the pundits I heard that were against the iraq invasion said it would lead to a civil war o'er there... go figure ... yesterday some lady on faux noose was bitching that only great britain and australia were the only ones who stepped up to offer help and she was pissed cause the saudis didn't wanna come out of their palaces to help fight but instead just make donations to their neighbors to do the war trot same bitch could have easily been mistaken for george bush's ass crack it was difficult to distinguish at least when those non muslim arabs were trapped in the mountains we sent them food... no better way out of a conflict than a food fight.... joking aside that situation is very fucked up and I think its being fueled by alot of ppl who aren't ready to reveal themselves not that the invasion itself didn't make recruitment easier than picking weeds out of a garden... suddenly there are articles titled "Was Putin Right" in my most leaping assumption, I think the almost war in Syria several months ago was a stage to draw Iran into a war as Syria has pledged backing from Iran.. Putin stepped in and put a stop to it.. next thing you know american interest was in Ukraine helping to push the movement to join the euro or some shit which for whatever reason would help to isolate russia financially... the same channel has been saying Isis has access to 2 Billion dollars and is selling millions worth of oil on the underground market each day,... but then they only requested 6.6 million for this latest lady hostage? The war hawks are anxious for conflict, and of course they make a lot of money everytime their investment get blown up.. I honestly think its some ultra covert op that has gone haywire, at least to some extent. or perhaps intended to go haywire... but I just have a gut feeling that someone is trying to draw someone else into a bigger war and if that is true, which it seems very much, I wouldn't be surprised if there some coalition of groups that want to draw USA into conflict... you can tell by the way they talk on the media that its beyond just a profiteers war... some of those fuckers look genuinely worried .. Interesting also is the very name Isis... I saw this story once about a land many many years ago called Israel... and the story says it was named as such due to the fact that 3 opposing people were able to come togeter in peace... and they were the followers of Isis, Amun Ra, and El'ohim... Isisrael... shrugs... maybe this is the platform they'll sacrifice the lamb with or sum shit anyhow lots of fanciful speculation, but I just can't help it, especially this early in the a.m.
  18. hrm just a little... i've always wanted to write a song to a pre established melody/beat so if you've got one send me it and write in between the lines I will attempt this feat if you get uber rich off that song I want like 2% royalties for 9 lifetimes I tried writing music before but after I write its hard for me to picture a song around it and so i'd rather write it into a song... rather than write a song and put music around it unless you are able to sing slam poetry type stuffs lol... its been a while but i've been staring at pens lately .... would help to know what you sing about lol mayby political stuffs? just day to day stuff? maybe a song about nature hrm thats been on my mind lately well okay i'll give it a shot if yas want.. is there a link to your previous stuff anywhere? at least so i can know what kind of tracks it would need to blend in with.. even if not i'd like to hear i'll check the other section and see if I missed it or something

lol tanx bot6... i don't know why the link didn't window up but anways its worth a listening... I especially like how he answers the question about the Iran issue being a "smoke screen" towards the end of the speech.. I listened to it a while back around when Bibi presented the pic of that bomb in a speech and well it makes alot of sense to me, especially bearing in mind the timing the Iran talk started a few years back as well as this speech which was in 2012... theres also the related side issue of whether or not Iran should have the right to develop and power their nation with nuclear energy... just recently Iran claims to have shot down an Israeli spy drone and semi threatens a surprise attack on the battlefield... I wouldn't be surprised if they are serious this time and I woudn't be surprised if they have an unexpected backing http://freebeacon.com/national-security/iranian-general-threatens-surprise-attack-on-israel/

    Ariocarpus , astrophytum and BAP

just curious are you grafting seedlings or aereoles.. mostly referrting to triches, i've had no success grafting seedlings to larger stocks but I haven't tried with arios nor have I grafted to hylo.. I do have an ario aereole sitting on a pere, pumped or at least hydrated for over 2 months maybe 3 now... I may have put out in harsh sun too fast but seems to be taking it eh I didn't expect it to be fast to grow ... some turb pups on pere took off pretty fast but I over baked them too, but they have adjusted finally.. on your ones that did pup, I just wonder if they were seedlings and did you cut low meaning get part of seedling near the root when you grafted ... I think when scions stall in pere alot of times it has to do with the vascular alightnment at least with triches but I had the experience that every one of my werdermannianus grafts took many months to start growing on pere.. got a new batch of werds from different seeds just recently grafted and they already look like they are moving a little in less than 10 days but not really sure yet... i screwed up and rotted a couple peres ugh but i got a few going btw I made 36 grafts of that furfuraceous monstrose and most of them shriveled within 10 days. only two areoles seem to have taken on opuntias and one small half head... not surprised tho cause the vascular bundles looked pretty dry and the plant wasn't actively growing... I kept 3 heads to root as well and one of them dried up but one already had a root poked out and seems to be okay eh as far as the term "better" ... that's just a cactus culture thing lol its subjective and I think the multi head ones look pretty cool but yeah probably ideal for propagation in my case for practice if I ever get around to cutting, even with multi heads they're still so pretty! this one is supposed to be restusus confusus but I think its maybe something else or a cross excuse the little hair and the dried blade of grass.. I was blinded by beauty and didn't notice

    Bolivia stands up to israel

Quite literally: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2715466/Israeli-official-calls-concentration-camps-Gaza-conquest-entire-Gaza-Strip-annihilation-fighting-forces-supporters.html though I don't recommend judging all of modern day khazaria by this doofus @Botanika you probably know this too but hispanic and asians share common ancestry dating back to way before columbozo rediscovered india, which splains alot about so called latina women lol they share a gene in common that white and black typically do not have in their genes... I do believe there were black tribes in north america before it was invaded by gold loving christian terrorists IN GOLD WE TRUST <what did they do with the fucking L> not that tribal life didn't have its corruption issues but for the most part they were at first described as the happiest most giving people one could encounter... until it was discovered they loved to dance, eat cacti, cacao and other forms of praisable blashphemy, that the queen decided she wanted the gold and the soil... ah well they're all dead now... well unless reincarnation is true... shrugs anyone ever looked into the Khazarian Empire? I mean how did the early 1900s germans go from open armed neighbors to suddenly commiting the hanus atrocities that we read about against one tribe of ppl... anyhow I see the old map in this vid and some light bulbs go ding ding now I don't see it that all jews are corrupt... just that the ultra religious views that some of them share are absolutely sick... put humorously: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/08/09/maybe-its-time-to-reevaluate-the-tradition-of-putting-a-babys-penis-in-a-grownups-mouth/ not as funny but its okay to laugh be happy that things have changed quite lot in the media and perhaps a big factor is the internet thank you Al Gore an old vid do I think islam is stupid? its absolutely the most anti progress mind virus on the planet..but to be the "chosen ones" and make choices that keep this culture in perpetual madness, is beyond stupid its advanced psychosis.

Columnar Flower Buds. Got some ? Post them here.

awesomeness those will be some great crosses that BBG looks gorgeous I think i know what you mean @ Jessicas peruvianus, I remember the really long one you got I think I grabbed a couple shorter ones and then screwed up on one. saved it with a graft... just starting to see growth on them too.. the big one turned yellow, then greened up, then yellow again, I ferted, and now its started to green again and showing the hints that its starting to grow.. im pretty sure the super duper well balanced compost I bought last year was infertile due to sitting long with too many sticks
