Just Dean Posted April 15, 2014 Welcome to the Corroboree Earthwalker. What is your favourite plant? (Thats a tough question i know, lol) Hi thank you for the kind welcome , my favorite plant at the moment would have to be the acacia , I just love the way it teaches me something new everytime I work with it , I also am in the process of growing some maidenii and I just love the differant vibrant green colours of it's ever changing foliage , it seems everyday it's showing a new green and my mrs loves the way they go to sleep she thinks it's cute lol

Just Dean Posted April 18, 2014 Aha! I lived at Killarney Vale for a bit there, but mainly the north Central Coast, around Norah Head way. Good times I loved it there as I'm a fisherman at heart ,lake fishing not beach or cliff fishing as it scares the crap outta me , see I grew up at a little place called fennell bay and went to primary school at fassifern if you've ever caught the train to Newy or syd you go through fassifern , and the only thing us kids had to do was go bush , chop down trees ( unwittingly not knowing the damage we did ) build shacks , motorbikes and visit the old caves with aboridganiel paintings " not many ppl no they're there , or hit Lake Macquarie fishing or jump of the bridge , thinking back we had it all as kids , wish I could go give my kids what I had , but anyways thanks again I love the personal attachment and a sence of belonging this forum gives compared to others ! Cheers
