Adam & Eve.

Recommended Posts

Did Adam & Eve have a belly-button(s) ? As a belly-button is basically a scar from where the umbilical cord conected you to your mother , and as Adam & Eve were created without a mother there should be no belly-button(s)

Depends on where and how their fetus' were developed, as to whether they would have an umbilicus or not.

I wish I didn't have one, cause mine has a Hernia in it. :)

depends whether they are considered real or purely metaphors

if former then no navels

if latter then of course.

To a non zealot Adam is an archetype of the birth of consciousness

the first self aware man/woman

before adam we were just apes

Adam was prob a Homo erectus BTW :)

The theoritical answer I heard of is that they were angelic like in formation/creation. Not totally molecularly based. So no navel.

When there was a flaw discovered they were translated into completely molecularlized forms and earth biological nature itself.

Animals adapt to the environment over time which is a linear and predetermined type of fractualism {predetermined biological patterns]called evolution for want of a better word.

Not a desirable as having the environment in tune with oneself. Which would be ecology.

Theoriticaly.

Evil people simply try to make someone a responsive part of their autonomic nervous system which is a none thinking state and an attempt to do the animal thing.

After being kicked out of heaven, Adam resorted to suicide bombing the cafe that god frequented.

Because the explosives were strapped around his belly, forensics were unable to determine whether or not he had a belly button.

According to some texts Adam wasn't content with the new reality and threw himself off a cliff.

Didn't Eve come from Adams rib?

Did the snake have a belly button?

Does God have a belly button?

Were there really unicorns in the Garden of Eden?

Why wasn't it just called Eden Gardens?

I would hazard a guess and say that everything has a belly button, metaphorically speaking. :D

whilst experiencing a +4 psylo i comunicated with god, i didn't ask about the belly button, but one thing worth mentioning is that GOD HAD A FEMALE VOICE.

i proly will never get to chat with god again, but god willing, i will.

god had smart and profound answeres for all of my problems, pitty one cannot record things like this.

adam & eve (even though it's a metaphore) is a lot of crap invented by the church to make us have feelings of guilt, so they can controll us.

first create quilt, so that later they can sell you ways of absolution.

i still remeber the innocence of my childhood, which later got shattered by catholic priest, scaring me with there fucking devil.

my heart and soul is clean as country air,

the concept of sin and devil does not apply to me, and get substituted by a sence of morals.

we still live in the dark ages, because religious fears still rule the world.

Perhaps I missed the metaphor, but no, only placental mammals have belly buttons.

Perhaps I shouldn't use words that I don't know the meaning of, metaphorically speaking. :o

Did you see the doco on the hobbits recently?

Science v Religion...the battle of ages.

Science or Religion ?

Have we Philosophy of Physics?

Have we Philosophy of Religions?

1

Religion tells us nothing but fables and fantasies!

For example: God created woman from Adam’s rib,

using physical laws. So, what is Religion?

Religion is the poor man's philosophy.

"The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and

product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable,

but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.

No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. "

/ Albert Einstein. /

=========.

2

Modern Physics tells us nothing but fables and fantasies!

For example: One Galaxy can eat another Galaxy.

#

Cosmic cannibalising:

Images show one galaxy engulfing another

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/cosmic-cannibalising-images-show-one-galaxy-engulfing-another-1780652.html

#

The Discovery of one Galaxy "Attacking" Another

http://www.astronomyexpert.co.uk/the-recent-discovery-of-one-galaxy-attacking-another.html

. . .. etc

Question: Where did Galaxies come from? We don’t have answer.

#

You know, it would be sufficient to really understand the electron.

/ Albert Einstein./

#

Tell me what an electron is and I'll then tell you everything.

/ Somebody./

#

I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics.

/ Richard Feynman /.

#

The Editor of the Australian magazine Cosmos asked,

‘ Is it time to call a spade a spade, and admit that theoretical

physics is heading down the wrong track? ‘

#

And somebody wrote:

The theoretical physics is a greatest joke in human history.

#

So, what is Physics? Physics is the poor man's philosophy.

===== .

3

What to do?

I think, at first, we must answer to the simple classic question:

what did come first the chicken or the egg ?

If somebody didn’t understand this question, I will ask it simpler:

What was before Vacuum or Gravity ?

Does Gravity exist in Vacuum or vice versa?

Why I ask these questions.

Because the Universe ( as a whole ) is Two- Measured,

there are two Worlds: Vacuum and Gravity.

#

Now we have three ( 3) sources of the Universe:

Big bang , vacuum and God.

Which of them is correct ?

About big band and god my opinion is:

the action, when the God compressed all Universe

into his palm, physicists had named -a singular point

And action, when the God opened his palm,

physicists had named - the Big Bang

=.

And about vacuum Paul Dirac wrote:

‘ The problem of the exact description of vacuum, in my opinion,

is the basic problem now before physics. Really, if you can’t correctly

describe the vacuum, how it is possible to expect a correct description

of something more complex? ‘

==========.

Best wishes.

In the beginning, God created earth and rested.

Then God created man and rested.

Then God created woman.

Since then, neither God nor man has rested.

so are you saying that god had some sort of labratory where he designed an artificial womb in which Adem and Eve grew? i thought that the bible said that he just created Adam and then used one of his ribs to create eve or something like that in which case they could never have belly buttons

I personally believe in Evolution not to say that i'm not spiritual rather the fact that the after life is nothing like anything a church has built it up to be, no-one knows and will ever know untill the end but life is about the journey so have a damn good TRIP newimprovedwinkonclear.gif

EVOLUTION there is evidance all over the world and god we just have to have faith in, now i've seen with my own two eyes some pretty out there experience's during DMT experiences and have come to the conclusion or realisation that we are all just energy and matter and that we are all connected just reality blinds us from this

and since DMT i have become very spiritual but that doesn't mean i believe in a direct god i think its way more complex then just god and the devil and heaven and hell i think it needs more study from many more peeps and scientists just my opinion

I find it interesting that science based atheists scorn religions reliance on "faith" for creation stories, whereas we believe in evolution, a concept that has turned many scientists to religion based on the sheer improbability of life having formed in the first place. It has been likened to the entire solar system being filled with blind people, each blind person shuffling a Rubik's cube randomly, and every one of them coming to the solution at the same time.

This may interest some of you.

I do happen to believe in the cycle of the "big bang" though. Seeing as everything exerts gravity, wouldn't it all end up at a central point again given enough time? (a LONG time) Then it can go boom - expand again, and born anew comes the universe. I think it's pretty arrogant/presumptuous to assume we're the centre of anything, or that this is the first incarnation of the universe. I do like reading these threads though, to see what opinions are held by others.

I think, at first, we must answer to the simple classic question:

what did come first the chicken or the egg?

It's pretty apparent that the logical conclusion is that the egg came first.

Edit: God told me she likes atheists best :P
