Anyone got a spare 750?. Anyone else know the background on this clone??? http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/252148476045

Not even legal in parts of Aus. Stupid government. Even classed as a weed/invasive exotic in Western Australia. Can't have those Lophs growing out of control all over the state now :-/
-
Prices are relative to abundance really and lophs are not legal in the states. You could easily pay that in Australia for a couple of good loph and some bonus common cacti. We have shitloads of PC Pach it is the least sort after,so 400 bucks is rather steep!
-
I know! Where do these prices come from? I think this dude has been watching Trichs go for ridiculous prices lately and just thought he would have a stab, the cuts are shitfull looking things, not even glamour tip cuts!

http://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/181911404801 Bargain at only 400 bucks?!?!?!

It was the CBD I was taking for the most part, kinda funny cause I was surrounded by mountains of OG Kush. One of my issues with weed is it can make my anxiety levels worse.i guess it's safe to say if my back pain and anxiety levels are lower than decent sleep usually follows. I didn't get to use it long enough to make much in the way of definitive comments it was only for one sweet, sweet month I was doing that work in California.

I didn't know they could get that big so rapidly. What kind of soil, water and fertiliser regime?
-
How big was it when you got it ? That can't be seed grown!?!!!!?
-
Wow. How old is the fissuratus?

This place cracks me up. Who would have thunk you could find somewhere where there is a bit of humorous verbal warfare over something like grafting! -
I was given some when I was in California. I have back problems, anxiety issues at times and I thought it great for both as well as sleep. Very interesting stuff.

There is a guy called Sahand on the peyote appreciation FB group who is constantly showing photos of some of the best looking wild collected and old growth loph I've ever seen. Ask him he is very friendly and his plants are truly astounding. -
Mate what sort of mineral substrate have you got in there?

Grafting is the logical choice if you want to selectively breed cacti for the production of hybrids and cultivars before you GET old. I've found it to be a pretty popular method on most cacti forums. I don't like how they look. It is a means to an end. It also allows me to show all my hot young cacti groupie girlfriends the fruits of my labour before they get old. ;-) -

Wow I haven't looked on any international Ebay sites in long while. For someone in Australia it gets a bit much to take. The low prices and rarities that is. I had no idea it was so freely available. Do you know how that occurred was it due to this propagation program I was told of or the usual illegal stuff? The botanist who found it was pretty determined to keep the site a secret for as long as possible. How many vendors sell it? Would love to know how they get at the seed given what you say Berengar. Funny I just had a look at which country's the vendors were in. Eastern Europe. What is it about Eastern Europe and very rare recently discovered cacti showing up for sale?

Nooooooooooo. Dark day in SAB history. Your gunna be missed mate. Lucky for me I have the training, means and motivation to hunt you down. Massive loss to this place. Starting to feel like a war zone in here. We've lost two good people in as many weeks.
