  1. Definitely something in the opuntoid group of the cylindrical/columnar variety. Does look similar to one I have, which may well be the exact one that Snowfella mentioned.
  2. I'd be up for a camp or a meet or something. Can't do the end of September though, unfortunately.
  3. No worries. Parodia is synonymous with Notocactus by the way.
  4. Looks like Parodia magnifica and Gymnocalycium mihanovichii or could be var. fredreichii.
  5. Got a bunch of these ready to go. Those who haven't contacted me with details etc. please do so, if you would like some of these seeds.
  6. A stapeloid. It's a succulent. I think they are now Orbea? Can't remember. Very interesting, albeit stinky flowers. Enjoy
  7. Very enjoyable little jaunt that was. What a lovely night. Thanks fellas, that one will stay with me for many, many moons. Pure magic.
  8. Yeah, tripsis must take all credit. They are his seeds that he kindly donated to the community. I am just the middle man as he didn't have time to muck around with getting the seeds out of the fruits, cleaning the debris off, then packing and posting. Cheers tripsis
  9. Hope he gets better toast. For his sake and yours.
  10. From the station just head up the road (South) away from the water, you can't miss it. Don't know about you guys? I will probably get to the camp site around 1pm ish or so, do a bit of setting up etc. Just been over there and some grubs had left a putrid mess.
  11. OK! Got the seeds, just need to clean them and sort them, then pack. There are LOTS, if there is more interest, please state it here as there are plenty to go around. What I will get people to do is send a couple of stamps to cover postage as there is too much for my funds to handle alone. It will be worth it, Did I mention there are LOTS of seeds? Cheers.
  12. Bummer Justler. Was hoping to get to chat to you a bit more this time. Maybe next time. The weather isn't looking too bad, it's going to be pretty damn cold though, so bring your woolly knickerz fellas. Got plenty of firewood so should be good. Will be heading over there tomorrow to check everything out and drop the wood off. Looking forward to catching up with everyone again and getting out under the stars. See you all there.
  13. Great plants EG! Keep those pics coming.
  14. I have T. lophophoroides seeds. PM me if keen to trade etc.
  15. Fark!!! Just got all the wood ready. Cut my finger open pretty bad. Should be good by the weekend I hope, that won't stop me anyway.. Still looking forward to it though haha
  16. That is what I was thinking too tarenna. From memory that species has very sticky leaves. Does yours have that El_Bart0?
  17. Hope this is still happening? It's gone kind of quiet. The weather isn't looking too bad for that area next weekend. At this point there is a possible chance of slight rain. Hoping it stays this way or even improves from that..
  18. Yeah, looks like quite possibly Parodia magnifica syn. Notocactus. could be P. warasii though. I am thinking the latter though, as it doesn't seem to have white wool on the aereoles.
  19. Yeah, it's a Myrtillocactus. possibly M. cochal.
  20. UnderdaXXX = bikini briefs aka normal undies... EDIT: Well I think that's normal??? I am no expert on undergarments.
  21. No it's the fruit body of the fungus.
