to folias- Amen brother! i have never understood nor agreed with you so much in both your posts. - Is it more important to confirm your view of reality, ie to be right. or to live life as it is? As for that "thing" you mentioned Auxin, everyone knows its not active, especially the law enforcement types who would ban it if they knew how good it really is !!!!!! watch out, you should edit that post!!!!!!!!!!!

Unknown ancient(sacred)geometry
Salviador replied to andymonk's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Can you explain to me how a 2 dimensional object can contain more than 2 dimensions worth of information? I find sacred geometry really interesting, but i dont know much about it. -

Gotta separate neccesary and sufficient traits of life. Ie Reproduction is necessary but not sufficient for unique traits of life as crystals also reproduce, From the book Quantum Evolution, by Johnjoe Mcfadden; the general gist i got, was that life doesn't respond purely to the laws of physics, i mean it does at the base level, but quantum observers (things that hold onto (in one place at a point in time(roughly)) and move electrons) are necessary traits of life. Ie rocks fall down hills, water travels least resistance, crystals crush into more crystals. but life observes the universe.. Forgive me for the nonsensical answer, ill read the book a bit and add to this soon -Edit. Life is a force of nature just like gravity, electromagnetic, nuclear and weak nuclear...

This course sounds interesting, and i look forward to your speech at ega. however i have an issue with one of your points, which is your claim that you will never fear again. emotional pain including fear is useful and beneficial, grief can help you achieve closure over great loss better than cognitive or spiritual realisations, anger can help motivate and energise you to achieve justice, fear and anxiety can assist in raising awareness for performance and facilitate fight or flight responses. I personally believe that emotion is a natural part of life, essential and desirable. Why else would we have them? Trying to control emotions uses up energy, this is where post traumatic stress disorder comes from, and arguably most psychological distress.

Looks to me like theyre trying to increase charges for less weed by weight. -
yet you dont see straight people flaunting their buisness, rubbing it in your face. Rio de janeiro Mardi Gras- quite straight, Flaunting? Britney spears, Christina Aguilera, Desperate Housewives, Neighbours, Latin Dancing classes, 99% of all movies, 100% of all pop, most books. Need i go on? Also those anzac bastard shouldnt bring their actions to public attention, nor should those stinking hippies be parading around raising awareness of drug law reform at the mardi grass, and fuck all women who think its their right to get their message out there by celebrating feminism. These issues should be hidden away from everyone who isnt them. lest anyone be confronted with something unusual and have to actually consider a perspective they wouldnt normally.

this is potentially great news for mental health. A large proportion of consumers smoke weed as well, which invariably aggravates their symptoms, if they could be recommended to seek out hash or low thc alternatives, there would be a lot less need for hospitalisation.

http://www.freecycle.org.au/ This is a cool site where you post stuff you no longer want but dont want to throw away for other people who may deem it a treasure. Good for saving money and earth's resources

Too true ramon, friend got busted .056 got a overpriced lawyer, argued it was a mistake and asked for a higher fine and less time off driving. He got one month and $1000 + Lawyer. In addition the lawyer asked not to record a conviction, the police representative had never heard of this before, and thus didnt realise you could challenge this, the judge saw no reason to and thus didnt record a conviction.

Great Idea, ethnobotany is all about the utilisation of plants in suppot of culture and living Also theres a small forum here, and generally a good down to earth site, maybe it could be a good idea to put a sticky up of good web resources http://www.selfsufficientish.com/ Second the vote for "sustainable living" title and suggest it be put under ethnobotany

Strattera is great for getting rid of intrusive thoughts in psychotic patients... Medication is good, just tends to get over used and maintained in use amongst those who don't necessarily benefit from it.

Simple solution, medicinal herbs become cooking herbs, and essential oils become mosquito repellent. Haven't you heard of echinacea and rosemary lamb roast? or ginko biloba pork balls?
