Herbal smoking blends base herb.

Recommended Posts

What are some suggestions/favorites/recommendations as a base material for herbal smoking blends? So just  from a smoothness/texture point of view and not with any overpowering taste.

I have been a bit silly over the years and just had a little nibble of a plant and then if i noticed no negative effect i might try dry a little bit out and see what the smoke is like(yea.. I know this is kinda stupid).

One nice base material i have found is the leaves of what i think is some type of wild raspberry.

wild dagga!

leonotis and leonoris species, many of them grow as an abundant weed in oz!

look for flower stalks featuring spheres with orange tounges emerging.

very mild smoke, after curing, very good if you need to lace.

very mildly active on it's own, like very mild mj, mixed with lettuce opium.

Was planning on adding these to my collection,  from what i can tell it only grows wild along the east coast starting from the top of vic to mid queensland, unfortunately i live on the vic/sa border area so there is none growing wild around here from what i know.

Anyone growing damiana here can supply plants, seeds or cuttings?

damiana, grown in oz was very potent and better than the imports, but keeping the plants alive was impossible.

i've seen will dagga even as weed in the uk, so it will grow at most oz locations.

i prefer dagga over damiana, the latter is a bit harsher on the throat.
