Master B Posted July 6, 2016 I absolutely love this plant. I often dream and get moist!! thinking about a cross with this beast. Please show off your clones! I believe Prier was the original spreader and that's who i got mine from. Has anyone got it near a flowering size(i do realize this is how long is a piece of string but..)?? I cut the biggest pup from this about a year ago.. and gave it to a mate. It has since recovered. It has just pupped and started going a bit monster again Cheers B
zelly Posted July 6, 2016 proud as a peacock, i gotta say I was pretty damned stoked when this killer plant arrived one day. It rooted up quickly & then began throwing on girth; its got awesome genetics....HUGE Thanks Mate !! I'm predicting Flowers Next Year
Psyentist Posted July 7, 2016 Certainly an interesting plant! Here's mine that I also got from Prier. If my memory serves me correctly he was saying that it was originally imported from South America in the early 90's to a garden in northern New South Wales. These first three photos are from when I first got him about 12 months ago... A few months later I cut him in half and gave the tip to a friend for their birthday. Counter-productive I know but I figured that he'd grow back. This is what he looks like now... No flowers for me for a long time I'm afraid.
Master B Posted July 7, 2016 Not to worry bro... you have done a good deed and you have 3 beautiful pups. Your original cut sported some lovely form! Makes me love it even more!!!!
Psyentist Posted July 7, 2016 He was quite the looker wasn't he. And nah, I'm not worried. The friend I gave it to was very appreciative and hopefully the pups grow back even nicer. Great thread bro, I'm looking forward to see some other people's pics.
2XB Posted July 9, 2016 Got mine from.prier too , hasn't budged in over a year
zed240 Posted July 10, 2016 I also got one from Prier. Mine was a 4 ribber that grew that way for another 30cm or so for me and then spit into 6 ribs and had a couple of 30cm pups. Then I chopped it up, sold one of the pups and rooted the other pup and the longer tip cutting. The base has now got another winter pup forming too. Great plant. And the 2 cuttings rooting themselves are below. On a completely unrelated side note, I wish I could just upload pics here like we used to be able to, as small thumbnails that you could choose to enlarge or not.
Enrique sanchez Posted July 11, 2016 Such an awesome plant. Much jealous, lol
sagiXsagi Posted July 15, 2016 There seems to be some scop in there... spination in some pics resembles the "cordobensis" and "rob" strains from oz. But these two dont do rib plays. any back story? oh Quote he was saying that it was originally imported from South America in the early 90's to a garden in northern New South Wales.
