Fenris Posted July 18, 2015 they must be unwashed. And have dreadlocks and smell of patchouli? I think anything produced in Aus will be washed already, although the wash is never absolute.

Windy Shepherd Posted March 14, 2017 Hey guys I'm starting to get into baking myself and am looking for unwashed poppy seeds. Can anyone help? Or advise on the quality of the ones sold through this site (not that there are many left)? FYI Hoyts ain't what they used to be. Cherrd Windy
Strontium Dawg Posted March 14, 2017 Running a bakery can lead you into trouble. Not that I'm lecturing you, but seriously be careful. There are plenty of cautionary tales, I won't add to them here.
stonewolf Posted March 14, 2017 I ran a bakery once. Turned into a full time job. Closing up shop took a good year, after a while I was only running it out of habit.
Halcyon Daze Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) LOL I got 250 tons to get rid of FAST. How much do you need? Edited March 14, 2017 by Halcyon Daze
Windy Shepherd Posted March 14, 2017 lol probably not the full 250 tons. Maybe a few kilos. It's a very small bakery and only open on very special occasions (for the reasons others have alluded to above).
Halcyon Daze Posted March 14, 2017 Sorry minimum order is 50 Tons. Try the international food store and just think, if you can't say no to it now, then how you ever gonna last playing with that fire?
