Cubism Posted May 29, 2015 Great news. Was meant to be down for the weekend but plans fell through. After exams are over in a couple weeks I'll be down for up to 6 weeks of forest shenanigans. Hopefully my secret patch is still a secret.
bℓσωηG Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) about a month ago (first pick) was the most mushies ever ,an aquaintence of a friend had ever seen! it was hard work picking he reckons, gonna be a good winter he reckons... he says would be good idea to collect some mycellium and start secret plots to avoid the hoards , cops ,and anti fungal spraying. i thought what he had to say was interesting ,although im allergic to mushrooms so its not my cup of tea http://www.fungifun.org/English/Psilocybe-Azurescens-Outdoor-Cultivation Edited May 29, 2015 by bℓσωηG

Fenris Posted June 30, 2015 I have some work on down in Bridgetown, I finished early today and went for an explore, one spot that I knew produced last year, one rough location from second hand info and one that was a booming treasure trove about 10yrs ago. I found a big fat nothing at all locations, its cold down here but everything was fairly dry. I did find 2 old decaying ones at the old boomer spot but they were drying up and were maybe 5days old. Two of these spots were confirmed about a month ago but its dry as a bone down here at the moment. I must have driven close to 200km today on the hunt and all I got was some nice shots of what few native local species I could find. That was tiring work and I need a beer, I'll fill the spa as well as a consolation. What a bummer.
