gtarman Posted November 13, 2014 Just wondering how big TBM's can get if left to their own devices? I've never really seen plants with more than 15-20 segments or so, but I dunno if that's because they don't get much larger or if maybe people just take lots of cuttings from mature plants? Anywho I thought it would be cool to see pics of ancient, massive clumps if anyone knows of any or has any, and if they even exist..? Cheers, Gman

zelly Posted November 13, 2014 if you guys research the old threads you'll find pics of some massively sized clumps of tbm's. I distinctly remember one growing in a greenhouse thats at least a meter tall and several in peoples yards / gardens that are nearly the same size in overall girth Pics are posted at sab, you just gotta find 'em.
hostilis Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) I saw a picture of one at SS that was like 1-1.5 meters tall/wide with probably 200-400 segments. Can't find the picture, but check out these TBMC's! ;' Edited November 13, 2014 by hostilis

gtarman Posted November 13, 2014 Holy hell that is huge QF. Glad I started this thread now And Nut - at first I thought that pic was really impressive until I looked closer and saw that it was just lots of medium-large-ish sized plants in pots close together, rather than the big clump it looks like at first glance. Still impressive, but nothing on QF's beast. I'd also like to know roughly how old that plant is QF!
nut Posted November 13, 2014 yeah gman i noticed that after i posted it as well!,its hard to tell exactly whats going on in that photo, its deff a sausage fest to say the least.I think the tallest plant closest to the camera is a bit beasty though.

hostilis Posted November 13, 2014 That thing is rediculous quarterflesh. I wish I could find that picture of the crazy huge TBM at SS. I went to their site and hit photo gallery, but there are no photos in there.
Gunter Posted November 13, 2014 I posted a pic of one at SS awhile ago, I forget the title of the thread.
Auxin Posted November 13, 2014 Yeah hostilis, I looked for that SS pic too. Its not just the photo gallery but the .jpg is missing from their directory as well as I direct linked it a few months back. Their photos were probably using too much bandwidth. Gunter Posted November 13, 2014 I lost all my SS photo data and only posted the picture here.
